Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using product from the Mini Catalogue or Online Exclusives. I have chosen to share a card made using the Artistic Leaves stamp set.
To recreate the colourful leaves card, you will need:
Poppy Parade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Blackberry Bliss card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
On one of the Basic White panels, I masked off a strip, about 1¾” wide using Masking Paper.

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are working with a Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge. I have chosen a diagonal line featuring ‘orange, layers and torn’. Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing projects showcasing something from the September – December Mini Catalogue. I have made a pretty card using the Branching Out stamp set and some ink blending.
To recreate the snowy branches card, you will need:
Gorgeous Grape card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” Basic White card – 5” by ¼” x 2 Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The gorgeous Branching Out stamp set used to make a snowy branches Christmas card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop
I stamped the largest branch, in Secret Sea ink onto the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card. I partially inked it up again and stamped it joining onto the original branch.
The pine needles were then stamped using the same ink. I used the smaller trio and the single leaf images.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The gorgeous Branching Out stamp set used to make a snowy branches Christmas card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop
Using a Blending Brush I added Fresh Freesia ink to the lower third of the stamped panel. Next, I blended on Highland Heather ink and finally Gorgeous Grape ink bringing this down the sides and along the bottom of the panel.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The gorgeous Branching Out stamp set used to make a snowy branches Christmas card – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop
A drop of Whisper White refill was placed on a clear block and a tiny drop of water added to loosen it. With a Water Painter I painted a little white ink onto the pine needle images and stamped over the darker leaves to give the effect of snow. I added a little more water to the ink and used it to add splatter to the panel.
