Thoughtful Sympathy card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are creating with a sketch to inspire us. I have made my card using the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (dsp).

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the thoughtful sympathy card, you will need:

Misty Moonlight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – 1 for the inside
Thoughtful Journey dsp – 5¼” by 3”
Pretty Peacock card – 2½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 2” by 2”

I used my Paper Trimmer to cut the piece of Thoughtful journey dsp into 4 strips ¾” wide.

These strips were then adhered, at different angles to one of the 5½” by 3¾” pieces of Basic White card. The whole piece was then glued to the Misty Moonlight card front. I added a small piece of Tear and tape to the card front and adhered a loop of Iridescent Stripped Ribbon.

A larger stitched circle was then die cut using the same set of dies from the piece of Pretty Peacock card. The 2 circles were adhered together and added to the card front on Dimensionals.
