A beautiful birthday card made using the to a wild rose stamp set

Today I am sharing a gorgeous birthday rose card made using the To a Wild Rose stamp set and a couple of the new in colors.

To recreate the Birthday Rose card you will need;

Soft Sea Foam card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Terracotta Tile cardstock 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White cardstock 4⅞” by 3⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” for the inside – rounded upper right corner
Scrap Whisper White for stamping and die cutting

I stamped the leaf image randomly around the edge of the Soft Sea Foam card base in Soft Sea Foam ink.

The sentiment from the now retired stamp set Everything is Rosy was stamped on the smaller Whisper White panel in Terracotta Tile ink. I added the stamped layer to the Terracotta Tile panel.

The Polka Dot Tuille Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then glued to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the outine rose in Terracotta Tile ink onto scrap Whisper White cardstock, I added the detailed layer in Rococo Rose ink and the solid layer in 2^nd generation Rococo Rose ink. These colours go so well together. The rose was then die cut using the Wild Rose dies.

The outline leaves were stamped in Garden Green ink with the inner layer added in Soft Sea Foam ink. They were die cut using the same set of dies.

The leaves were added to the back of the rose with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The rose was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The inside Whisper White panel and the front of the envelope were decorated with the leaf image.

This is such a lovely colour combination, I hope you like it.

Inspiring Iris for a birthday card

Today I am sharing a card made for the birthday of a friend. I used the new Inspiring Iris stamp set which has some really pretty floral images, perfect for birthdays.

To recreate the Inspiring Iris card you will need;

Melon Mambo card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Granny Apple Green 3 ¾” by 2 ¾” – Rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 3⅝” by 2⅝” – Rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner

The outline flowers were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smallest Whisper White panel.

A gorgeous floral feminine birthday card made using the Inspiring Iris stamp set by Stampin' Up!

The fill in stems were stamped in Granny Apple Green ink. I love the water colour effect of this stamp. So pretty.

The in-fill flowers were then stamped in 1^st or 2^nd generation ink or Daffodil Delight ink.

The border image was then stamped in Granny Apple Green ink in 1^st and 2^nd generation ink below the flowers but I didn’t really like how this looked and ended up covering it up with a piece of Granny Apple Green Ribbon.

The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White in Granny Apple Green ink, trimmed out with scissors and added onto the ribbon.

I stamped the in-fill flower image randomly over the Melon Mambo card front in Melon Mambo ink to add a little more interest and texture to the card. The floral piece was then added to the card fron with Dimensionals.

The inside Whisper White panel and the envelope were decorated with a stamped flower.

Promenade in colors

Here is a simple but gorgeous card made using the Beautiful Promenade stamp set with 2 of our new incolors – Pretty Peacock and Seaside Spray.

To recreate the In Color Beautiful Promenade card you will need;

Seaside Spray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner

Pretty Peacock 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner

Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2 – rounded upper right corner

Scrap Silver Foil, Pretty Peacock and Whisper White

I stamped the outline flower in Pretty Peacock ink down the left hand side of one of the Whisper White panels. I rotated the stamp after each re-inking to give a more random look.
