The new 2022- 2024 In Colors and Cup of Tea stamp set and co-ordinating Teacup Dies used to make a pretty card.

Tea and Flowers card

I have been playing with the gorgeous new Cup of Tea stamp set and Teacup Bundle and had made a sweet tea and flowers card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the tea and flowers card, you will need:

Parakeet Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper right corner
2022 – 2024 In Color dsp – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Sweet Sorbet card – 3½” by 2⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 3⅜” by 2½” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Scrap Basic White card

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the designer series paper (dsp) to the larger Basic White panel and used the same glue to add the panel to the Parakeet Party card base.

The striped cup was stamped in Orchid Oasis ink onto the smallest Basic White panel. I added the foliage with Parakeet Party ink and the flowers in Sweet Sorbet ink.

The stamped layer was added to the Sweet Sorbet panel with liquid glue. Actually, in the UK we haven’t been able to get hold of Sweet Sorbet cardstock so, as a work around I coloured the edge of the smallest Basic White panel with a Sweet Sorbet Blends Pen. The panel was added to the card base on Dimensionals.

Mosaic Technique card for the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using scraps. I have chosen to share the mosaic technique and scraps of Hand Penned dsp. This card was inspired by a video I saw recently on Youtube by Brigit of Kreativ Stempel

Colours in this project are:

To recreate the mosaic technique card, you will need:

Pale Papaya card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic Black card – 5¼” by 3½”
Misty Moonlight card – 5¼” by 3½”
Hand Penned dsp – rectangles cut at 5¾” by 4” – you need 3 – 4
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic Black & Basic White

I cut each of the rectangles of dsp on the diagonal into triangles. You need about 6 triangles for this card. Choose card stock where the colours work well together.

Each triangle was glued onto the Misty Moonlight panel leaving a tiny border between each piece. The excess was trimmed off.

I placed the dsp panel on the trimmer with the short side at the top and cut it down into ⅜” strips. The strips were then mixed up and glued onto the smaller Basic Black panel, again leaving a tiny gap between the strips. Cut off the excess and use these pieces to fill in the last couple of rows.

The whole piece was then glued to the larger Basic Black panel. I wrapped a strip of Black, Organdy Glittered Ribbon around the panel and adhered it on the back with Sellotape, The whole piece was the added to the Pale Papaya card base with liquid glue.

The sentiment from the Artfully Layered stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card and punched out using the Tailored Tag Punch. I punched out a Basic Black tag, cut it in half and added it to the back of the sentiment with a little showing top and bottom. The tag was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A beautiful gardening themed card made using the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set and Rain Boots dies by Stampin' Up!

Rain Boots

The card I am sharing today was inspired by a by a YouTube video by fellow demonstrator Ange MacKay –and features rain boots.

Colours used in this project:

To recreate the Rain Boots card, you will need:

Cinnamon Cider card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Very Vanilla card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper left corner
Bloom Where You’re Planted dsp – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Bloom Where You’re Planted dsp – 5½” by 1”
Very Vanilla card – 4” by 2”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Garden Green & Very Vanilla

I glued the large panel of dsp to the large Very Vanilla panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The piece was then added to the Cinnamon Cider card front using the same glue.

The rain boots – we call them Wellington Boots or Wellies in the UK – were stamped on scrap Very Vanilla card using Real Red ink. They were die cut using the Rain Boots Dies. The plant pot was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink on the same scrap card and die cut using the same dies. The boots and plant pot were added with glue to the tag.
