The Flowering Tulips stamp set by Stampin' Up! used to make a pretty Easter card featuring pink tulips

Pink Tulips Easter card

Here is a pretty pink tulip card, ready for Easter and made using the Flowering Tulip stamp set and some of the 2021 – 2023 In color dsp.

Colours used in this project are:

 

To recreate the pink tulip card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
2021 – 2023 In Color dsp – 5¾” by 4” – rounded upper left corner
Old Olive card – 4⅝” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4½” by 3” – rounded upper left corner
Old Olive card – 3” by 1½”

I wrapped a length of Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon around the panel of dsp before gluing it to the Thick Basic White card base.

The tulip heads were stamped in Polished Pink ink onto the Basic White card, I used Postit notes to mask off some of the flowers.

The stems and leaves were stamped in Old Olive ink. The stamped panel was added to the Old Olive layer and placed on the card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Old Olive card, covered it in White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. I die cut it out using the Scalloped Contour Dies and added it to the card front with liquid glue.

A bunny themed Easter card made using the Hydrangea dies and Swirly Frames stamp set

Easter Bunny card

Here is a sweet Easter Bunny card inspired by a Youtube video by fellow demonstrator Jamie 

Colours used in this project are :

 

To recreate the Easter bunny card, you will need:

So Saffron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded lower left corner
Granny Apple Green – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White – 4⅞” by 3⅛” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded lower left corner – for the inside
Flirty Flamingo – 4⅛” by ½” x 2

I used the smaller circle image from the Swirly Frames stamp set and So Saffron ink to randomly stamp around the edges of the So Saffron card base.

The 2 strips of Flirty Flamingo card were then added to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive

I stamped the smaller circle in Smoky Slate ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card and added the ‘ears’ in the same ink using a leaf image for the Pretty Perennial stamp set.

Using the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and the Hydrangea dies I die cut a selection of small flowers from scraps of So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride card. The leaves were die cut the same way using the Perennial Petals dies.

I arranged the flowers and leaves to form a headdress for the bunny, so cute.

The White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was coloured using the dark So Saffron Blends Marker, tied in a bow and added on a Mini Glue Dot under the ‘bunnies chin’.

The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink onto the stamped panel. The whole piece was added with the wet glue to the Granny Apple Green layer which was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Easter Wreath for the Crafty Collaborations Easter Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Easter Blog Hop. I love Spring, I think it is my favourite season of the year especially as my birthday is in Spring, I was actually born on Easter Monday. Easter is earlier in April this year and I have chosen to use the Arrange A Wreath Stamp set and Wreath Builder Dies to make a sweet Easter Wreath card.

Colours used in this project are:

 

To recreate the Easter Wreath card:

Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Highland Heather card base – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Granny Apple Green – 4” by 4”
Vellum – 4” by 4”
Scrap Basic White

Using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine I die cut 2 wreaths using the Wreath Builder Dies, one from the square of Granny Apple Green card and the other from the square of Vellum card stock. These were added to the smaller Basic White panel using dots of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The whole panel was then added to the Highland Heather layer with the same liquid glue and then to the Granny Apple Green card base.

Thank you for joining me today for he Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where our theme is Easter or Spring. I have to say the daffodils and crocuses are blooming in my garden, the birds are singing and hopefully, we are heading for warmer weather. I have picked an Easter Flowers in a jar.

The colours used in this project are:

 To recreate this Easter Flowers card, you will need:

Pool Party – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Old Olive card base – 5⅞” & 5¾” – scored at 4⅛” on the 5¾” side – rounded upper right corner
Ornate Garden dsp – 5¾” by 4” – rounded upper right corner
Very Vanilla – 5 ¼” by 3½” x 2 – rounded upper right corner
Very Vanilla – 5” by 3 ¼” – rounded upper right corner
Scrap Very Vanilla

The piece of Ornate Garden dsp was added to the inner panel of the Old Olive card base using Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive.

The smaller panel of Very Vanilla card was run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. I added it to the 1⅝” front panel of the card using the liquid glue.

I added one of the larger Very Vanilla panels to the back of the embossed panel and to the inside layer, positioned to be hidden from the front.

Using Basic Gray ink I stamped the jar and the bouquet of flowers onto scrap Very Vanilla card. The jar was punched out using the Jar Punch and I cut out the flowers using scissors.

The water was added to the jar with 2nd generation Pool Party ink and the stems in Old Olive. I used the Blends Markers to colour in the flowers and foliage – Old Olive, Rococo Rose, Daffodil Delight and Purple Posy

The flowers were stuck to the jar using liquid glue. A length of Linen Thread was wrapped around the jar top to bide the join and the whole piece added to the card front using Dimensionals.

I placed the box onto the smaller panel of Basic White using Dimensionals and tucked the eggs in, securing them with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The decorated panel was then added to the Flirty Flamingo panel using the liquid glue. The whole piece was added to the Pool Party card base with the same glue.

Easter Tulips for a Spring themed Easter card made using Stampin' Up! products

Tulip Easter card

Today I am sharing a pretty Tulip Easter card made using the Timeless Tulips stamp set and Tulip Builder Punch.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the tulip Easter card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Flowers for Every Season dsp – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Bumblebee – 4 ¾” by 3 ½”
Basic White – 4⅝” by 3⅜”
Bumblebee – 2⅜” by ¾”
Basic White – 2⅜” by ¾”
Scrap Basic White

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to add the piece of Flowers for Every Season dsp to the Thick Basic White card base.

The panel of Basic White card was run through the stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using the pretty Stitched with Whimsy Dies.

I inked up the large tulip image using Flirty Flaming ink then rolled the edges around on the Poppy Parade ink pad before stamping down on the die cut piece. I repeated this step to get 3 pink tulips, masking the images to give dimension to the group.

The stems were added in Mint Macaron ink and the leaves stamped in the same ink onto scrap Basic White card and punched out or cut out with Scissors.

The flower was inked up again with So Saffron ink, the edges rolled in Bumblebee ink and stamped down on Scrap Basic White card. The flower was then punched out using the Tulip Builder Punch and added to the panel on Dimensionals. The whole piece was then glued to the larger Bumblebee panel.

I added a strip of Lace Trim to the right-hand side of the panel before adding the layer to the card front.

Crocuses feature on a pretty Easter card using products by Stampin' Up!

Easter Promise

Here is a sweet Easter card made using the images of crocus’ from the Easter Promise stamp set.

To recreate the Easter Promise card you will need:

Old Olive – 5½” by 3⅜” – Rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3¼” – Rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Whisper White 5” by ½”

I began by stamping the sentiment from the Welcome Easter stamp set in Soft Suede ink onto the smallest panel of Whisper White card stock.

The group of crocuses was the stamped twice across the same panel using the same ink. I used the following Blends markers to colour in the flowers – Daffodil Delight combo, Purple Posy combo. Highland Heather combo and Old Olive combo.

The stamped panel was glued to the Old Olive layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the twine from the Magnolia Lane ribbon combo was wrapped  around both panels and secured to the back with Sellotape.

I added a bow in the same twine using a Mini Glue Dot.

The pretty decorative border from the Arts & Crafts dies was cut from the Whisper White strip and added to the bottom of the stamped layer. The whole panel was then added to the Purple Posy card base on Dimensionals.

The card was completed by the addition of  a trio of Iridescent Sequins.

Easter Hopping Around the World Blog Hop

Welcome to the Hopping Around the World Blog Hop where our theme is Easter. If you have joined me from Jennifer Downey’s blog, welcome and I hope you enjoy the inspiration we have to share with you today.

I have chosen to make my card made using the Cuckoo For You stamp set and the co-ordinating Cuckoo Clock dies.

To recreate the Cuckoo For You Easter card you will need:

Whisper White – %⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded lower right corner
Whisper White – 4⅛” by 2 ¼”
Purple Posy – 5” by ½”
Scrap Whisper White

I began by stamping the ‘hydrangea’ image from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set randomly across the Pool Party card base in Pool Party ink. I love the texture this stamp gives to the card front.

Using scrap Whisper White card stock I stamped the sweet little rabbit image from the Cuckoo To You stamp set five times in Early Espresso ink. The rabbits were then coloured in using the following Blends Markers – Petal Pink combo, Pool Party combo, So Saffron combo and Purple Posy combo. The noses were added with the dark Crumb Cake Blend Marker. The carrots were coloured in using the Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green combo. The images were then die cut using the Cuckoo Clock dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink along the bottom of the strip of Whisper White and added the rabbits across the panel on Dimensionals.

I die cut the adorable lacy border from the Arts & Crafts dies using the strip of Purple Posy card stock and adhered it to the bottom of the decorated Whisper White strip and added the whole piece to the Pool Party card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

To complete the card I added a trio of Iridescent Sequins. I love this card, it is so pretty. I hope you like it.
