I die cut the trio of daisies from scrap Basic White card and cut the flowers apart using sharp scissors. I die cut the base layer of the daisy from Pebbled Path card and the detailed flower from scrap Basic White card. I also stamped the flower centre in Moody Mauve ink onto scrap Bubble Bath card and die cut it out.

A Blending Brush was used to add Moody Mauve ink to the centre of both white flower layers and to the flower centre. A Dimensional behind the flower centre held the two delicate flower layers together and a little liquid glue added them to the Pebbled Path layer. The whole piece was added to the card front. The leaves were tucked in behind the flower.

Stepped Up Moody Mauve Daisies card

If you saw my last blog post on Tuesday the 5th September where I shared a simple stamping (inks, stamps and paper) card made using the Cheerful Daisies stamp set. I could not resist stepping it up by changing the colour palette, adding layers and accessories.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the moody mauve daisies card, you will need:

Moody Mauve card – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Moody Mauve card

As before, I used Pebbled Path ink to randomly stamp the largest daisy flower all over the small panel of Basic White card.

I added the flower centre using 2nd generation Moody Mauve ink. The stamped panel was then glued, using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, to the Pebbled Path layer.

At this point I decided to add a layer of Basic White card and wrapped a length of Sweet Sorbet Metallic Ribbon around the panel and adhered it on the back with Sellotape.

The same liquid glue was used to add the whole panel to a Moody Mauve card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto a scrap of Moody Mauve card, covered with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. It was then die cut using the label from the Cheerful Daisies Dies and added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of 2023 – 2025 In Color Dots and a ribbon bow completed the card.

I hope you like it.
