Vases of Flowers Card

Today’s birthday card was made using pieces left over from my June Garden Gatherings classes.

Colours used in making this card are:

 

I created the vases of flowers card using the following supplies:

Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Secret Sea – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Berry Burst – 5” by 3¾”
Basic White – 4½” by 3¼”
Cloud Cover – 2 ¼” by ⅜”
Scrap Basic White and Vellum

 

I embossed one of the larger panels of Basic White using the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered it to the piece of Secret Sea and then to the Daffodil Delight card front.

The On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the stems with Peaceful Pine, 2 of the tiny flower stems and 1 of the larger flower stems. The flowers were added to the stems with Daffodil Delight or Berry Burst ink. The flowers sprays were then die cut using the Garden Gatherings dies.

Both vases were stamped on scrap pieces of Vellum with Versamark ink before being covered with White Embossing Powder and set using a Heat Tool. The vases were then die cut.

I Used a Cloud Cover Blends Pen to colour in the bottom of the vases to give the effect of water. The flower sprays were then added to the back of the vases with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The arches were adhered together and the flower filled vases were added to the arches on Dimensionals.

Embossed Vases Card

 

Here is a sweet card inspired by Wendy Lee of Creativelee Yours – using the pretty Garden Gatherings stamp set and the Beautiful Bokeh dsp.

Colours used in making this card are:

 

I created the embossed vases card using the following supplies:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Vellum – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Beautiful Bokeh dsp – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White -2½” by 2”
Scrap Basic White

 

Using Versamark ink, I randomly stamped both vases from the garden Gatherings stamp set all over the panel of Vellum. I covered the panel with White Embossing Powder and set it using my heat tool. I added dots to some of the vases using the White Gel Pen.

I die cut a label from the small piece of Basic White card using the Nested Essentials dies and stamped the sentiment, from the Cutest Crew stamp set with Calypso Coral ink.

I adhered the label to the panel of Vellum with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive trapping a strip of retired Calypso Coral Ribbon. More liquid adhesive was added to the back of the vellum panel where it would be hidden by the label and glued it to the panel of dsp. The whole panel was then mounted onto the Thick Basic White card front on Dimensionals.

I adhered a piece of the Extraordinary Flora dsp to scrap Basic White card and die cut my chosen image. This was the adhered to the card front.

I glued the largest panel of Mixed Up Patterns designer series paper (dsp) to the Thick Basic White card front. I added the two strips of Mixed Up Patterns dsp.

I stamped the vase with Secret Sea ink onto a scrap of Mixed Up Patterns dsp and die cut it using the Garden Gatherings dies. I decided that I didn’t like the dsp rim around the vase so fussy cut around the vase with sharp scissors.

Garden Gatherings Cards for June 2026 Classes

Today I am sharing the cards designed for my June 2026 classes using the lovely Garden Gatherings stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make these cards are:

 

Back Fold Arch Card

Cloud Cover card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored on the long-side at 1” and 4⅛”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Berry Burst – 5” by 3½” – Die cut an arch using Everyday Arches dies
Basic White – 4½” by 3¼” – Die cut an arch using Everyday Arches dies
Lovely Blossom dsp – 5¾” by ⅞”
Cloud Cover – 2¼” by ⅜”
Vellum – 2¾” by 2¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

 

Using Cloud Cover ink, we randomly stamped the group of flowers on the left-hand panel of the card front. The piece of Lovely Blossoms designer series paper (dsp) was then glued to the 1” panel of the card front.

Stamp both vases on the Vellum with Versamark ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. The vases were then die cut. Using a Cloud Cover Blends Pen we coloured in the bottom of the vases to give a watery effect. The flower sprays were then added to the back of the vases with a little Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

 

The arches were adhered together and the flower filled vases were added to the arches on Dimensionals.  The arched piece was then added to the 1” strip of card front.

Berry Burst card – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side

Cloud Cover – 2¼” by ⅜”

 

We stamped the three vases onto the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card with Secret Sea ink. The ‘water’ was added with Cloud Cover ink.

The flower stems were then stamped inside the vases with Peaceful Pine ink.

 The sentiment was stamped in Secret Sea ink onto the strip of Cloud Cover card before being added to the card front.

 

Single Vase Card

Peaceful Pine – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Berry Burst – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White – 4¾” by 3”
Cloud Cover – 1” by 1” cut in half on the diagonal
Peaceful Pine – 2¼” by ¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

We stamped the tiny flower heads with Peaceful Pine ink in the upper left and lower right card front.

The vase was stamped with Secret Sea ink onto the 4¾” by 3” piece of Basic White card and ‘water’ added with Cloud Cover ink.

The stems were stamped in the vase with Peaceful Pine ink and flowers added with Berry Burst ink. The sentiment was stamped with Peaceful Pine ink below the vase. The thin strip of Peaceful Pine card was then glued to the long side of the Cloud Cover triangle and the whole piece was then glued to the decorated panel.

The decorated piece was then glued to the Berry Burst layer before being mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are combining old with new product. I have used the new Garden Gatherings stamp set and dies with the old Banner Sayings stamp set and Three Banner Punch to make a pretty thank you card.

Using the same set of dies I die cut 3 leafy sprigs from scrap Old Olive card and 3 flowers from scrap Flirty Flamingo card. These were added to the back of the die cut vase using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are using the new 2026 – 2028 In Colors. I have made my card using the lovely Artisan Sketched Garden dsp to make my card.

I ran the strip of Basic White card through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and glued it to the Hydrangea Hue card front. I added the strip of Basic Black card above it.

Using one of the floral images I randomly stamped around all four sides of the Granny Apple Green card base with Granny Apple Green ink.

I die cut a vase using the Garden Gathering dies from a scrap piece of Season of Elegance designer series paper. I placed it in position on the smaller panel of Basic White card and lightly drew around it with a pencil. This will help me to stamp the flowers so that they will appear to be inside the vase.

I stamped two stems with Granny Apple Green ink using the pencil outline of the vase as a guide. The tiny flower clusters were then added with Poppy Parade ink.

The pencil lines were then erased and the die cut vase glued into position.  A ‘ground’ image, from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set was then stamped under the vase with Gray Granite ink.

The sentiment was stamped in Granny Apple Green ink, one word at a time using a simple masking technique. The stamped panel was then glued to the Pretty Peacock layer which was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I used a Poppy Parade Blends Pen to colour in 3 of the Moody Palette Glossy Dots and added them to complete the card.

Vase of Daisies Card

I am sharing a pretty , vase of daisies themed birthday card made using the Pop-up Petals stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card:

 

I created the vase of daisies card using the following supplies:

Darling Duckling card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Old Olive card – 5” by 3¼”
Strawberry Slush card – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card

 

I stamped the group of flowers, petals only in the upper left and lower right corners of the Darling Duckling card base in Darling Duckling ink and set it aside.

I stamped the sentiment, from the Tractor & Co stamp set with Old Olive ink onto the small panel of Basic White card.

Using Strawberry Slush ink, I stamped the vase on scrap Basic White card. I used Secret Sea ink to stamp the bunch of daisies and cut out both images using the Pop-up Petals Dies.

I added colour to the petals using Darling Duckling ink and 2nd generation Old Olive inks to colour the flower centres. The leaves were coloured with a Light Old Olive Blends Pen. The vase and flowers were added to the card inked layer on Dimensionals.

The decorated piece was then glued to the Strawberry Slush layer and then to the Old Olive panel and the whole piece was then glued to the Darling Duckling card front.

 

A trio of 2025 – 2027 In Color Flat Pearls to finish the card.

Cloud Cover card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Cloud Cover card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 2¾” – used to die cut a label using Nested Essentials dies
Basic White card – 8” by 5⅝” – scored at 4” on the long side
Basic White card – 2” by ¼”

We used the Damask Designs Embossing Folder to emboss the panel of Cloud Cover card. A length of White Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the panel before it was glued to the Cloud Cover card front.

Using the larger of the rectangular scored die we die cut the pop out feature from the 8” by 5⅝” piece of Basic White card. The central scoring piece of the die was lined up with the panel’s scoreline.

The pop out panel was then adhered inside the card and the sentiment, from the Branching Out stamp set was stamped below in Secret Sea ink.

On scrap Basic White card, we stamped 2 plant pots in Secret Sea and 2 bunches of sunflowers using the same ink. These images were then die cut using the Pop-up Petals dies. The flowers were coloured with Darling Duckling Blends Pens, the centres added with 2nd generation Secret Sea ink. We coloured the leaves with Cloud Cover Blends Pens. The flowers were glued to the pots.

One of the pots of sunflowers was added to the pop-up panel inside the card and the other, on Dimensionals to the die cut label. The label was then glued to the card front.

The strip of Secret Sea card was glued to the front of the Thick Basic White card front about 1½” from the bottom.

Using the Damask Designs Embossing Folder we embossed the panel of Strawberry Slush card before gluing it to the Thick Basic White card front.

Cloud Cover ink was added to the smaller Basic White card cover the upper two thirds. The sentiment, from the Tractor & Co stamp set was stamped at the bottom of the panel with Secret Sea ink.

On scrap Basic White card, we stamped the plant pot with Secret Sea ink, 2 vases – one in Timid Tiger and the other in Strawberry Slush inks. Using Secret Sea ink, we stamped a rose and 2 of the Tulip like flowers. All these images were die cut out.

All the leaves were coloured using the Cloud Cover Blends Pens. Colour was added to the flowers using the infill stamps and either Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger or Strawberry Slush ink.

The vases were then glued to the inked panel, slightly overlapping on either side and the Tulips tucked inside. The plant pot and rose were then added on Dimensionals.

Using Darling Duckling ink, we stamped the single open sunflower in the upper left and lower right corner of the Darling Duckling card front.

We tore the scrap piece of printer paper from side to side, separated then and adhered the pieces together with Washi Tape. The whole piece was then positioned over the smaller panel of Basic White card.

Cloud Cover ink was then swirled on using a Blending Brush between the pieces of printer paper. With the mask still on place we added some dotage, from the Branching Out stamp set with Cloud Cover ink. The masking pieces were then removed and the sentiment, from the Hugs & Healing stamp set was stamped in the lower right corner with Secret Sea ink.

Pop-up Petals Double Z Fold card

Today I am sharing a special double Z fold card made for a team-mate and friend’s special birthday using the Pop-up Petals stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

To recreate the Pop-up Petals Birthday Double Z Fold Card, you will need:

Night of Navy card – 11” by 5½” – scored and folded on the long side at 2¾” and 5½”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 5¼”
Basic White – 5¼” by 2½” x 2
Country Woods dsp – 5⅛” by 2⅜”
Country Woods dsp – 5” by 2¼” x 2
Strawberry Slush card – 5⅛” by 5⅛”
Basic White card – 5” by 5”

Bubble Bath card – 9¼” by 4¼” – scored and folded on the long side at 2¾” and 5½”
Strawberry Slush card – 4⅛” by 3⅝”
Strawberry Slush card – 4⅛” by 2½” x 2
Basic White – 3⅞” by 3⅜”
Basic White – 3⅞” by 2⅜” x 2
Scrap Basic White and Silver Foil

 

The three panels of Country Woods dsp were adhered to the three Basic White panels, one measuring 5¼” by 5¼” and two measuring 5¼” by 2½”. These were then adhered to the three panels of the Night of Navy card base.

The sentiment, from the Reason to Celebrate stamp set was stamped in the upper right corner of the 3⅞” by 3⅜” panel of Basic White card. The HAPPY was stamped in Strawberry Slush ink and the BIRTHDAY in Night of Navy ink.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the tall vase in Night of Navy ink, the bowl in Strawberry Slush ink. The outline daisies and rose were stamped in Secret Sea ink. I die cut all the images using the Pop-up Petals Dies.

The daisies were coloured using the infill stamps, petals in bubble Bath and flower centres in Cloud Cover. The rose was coloured with 2nd generation Strawberry Slush ink and the leaves with Cloud Cover ink. These were added to the Basic White panel on Dimensionals. The whole piece was glued to the slightly larger Strawberry Slush panel and then to the Bubble Bath card base.

The outline of the daisies was stamped with Secret Sea ink onto one of the 3⅞” by 2⅜” panels of Basic White card. The petals were stamped in Strawberry Slush ink and the flower centres with Cloud Cover ink.

The HAPPY was stamped in Night of Navy ink and the BIRTHDAY in Strawberry Slush ink. I add the 40th, die cut from Silver Foil using the retired Small Numbers Dies. The whole panel was glued to the 4⅛” by 2½” piece of Strawberry Slush card before being added to the Bubble Bath card base.

The tall vase was stamped in the remaining 3⅞” by 2⅜” piece of Basic White card, the outline rose was added using Secret Sea ink. The flower was coloured with Bubble Bath ink and the leaves with Cloud Cover ink. The decorated panel was glued to the remaining piece of Strawberry Slush card measuring 4⅛” by 2½” before being added to the Bubble Bath card base.

The two card bases were then adhered together.

The tall vase was stamped in Strawberry Slush ink on the remaining Basic White panel. I stamped the same image on a Post It Note, cut it out and applied it over the stamped vase. The vase was then stamped in Cloud Cover ink, overlapping the first image. With the mask still in place I stamped the bowl in Night of Navy ink and removed the mask.

The outline rose image was stamped in Secret Sea ink and colour added with Bubble Bath and Cloud Cover inks. A butterfly was added with Secret Sea ink. The decorated panel was glued to the remaining Strawberry Slush layer and the panel was then adhered to the back of the card ready for me to sign.
