Vase of Daisies Card

I am sharing a pretty , vase of daisies themed birthday card made using the Pop-up Petals stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card:

 

I created the vase of daisies card using the following supplies:

Darling Duckling card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Old Olive card – 5” by 3¼”
Strawberry Slush card – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card

 

I stamped the group of flowers, petals only in the upper left and lower right corners of the Darling Duckling card base in Darling Duckling ink and set it aside.

 

I stamped the sentiment, from the Tractor & Co stamp set with Old Olive ink onto the small panel of Basic White card.

 

I used a Blending Brush to add Old Olive ink to the panel above the sentiment.

 

Using Strawberry Slush ink, I stamped the vase on scrap Basic White card. I used Secret Sea ink to stamp the bunch of daisies and cut out both images using the Pop-up Petals Dies.

 

I added colour to the petals using Darling Duckling ink and 2^nd generation Old Olive inks to colour the flower centres. The leaves were coloured with a Light Old Olive Blends Pen. The vase and flowers were added to the card inked layer on Dimensionals.

 

The decorated piece was then glued to the Strawberry Slush layer and then to the Old Olive panel and the whole piece was then glued to the Darling Duckling card front.

 

A trio of 2025 – 2027 In Color Flat Pearls to finish the card.
