Floral Bauble Card – Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are working with a colour challenge to create Christmas cards. I have used the new Bauble Blooms stamp set and dies to make my card.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the floral bauble card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Secret Sea card – 5½” by 3¾”
Cloud Cover card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Cloud Cover & Secret Sea

Using the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder I embossed the left-hand side of the Cloud Cover panel and adhered it to the Secret Sea Panel. The whole piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

The detailed floral image from the Bauble Blooms stamp set was stamped on the square of Basic White card in Secret Sea ink. The infill flower image was then stamped in Strawberry Slush ink. The leaves were added with Summer Splash ink. I die cut the bauble using the Bauble Blooms Dies.

From scrap Cloud Cover card, I die cut the bauble top and added it to the top of the die cut bauble. I cut a thin sliver of Secret Sea card and adhered it to the card front. The bauble was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The bow was stamped in Darling Duckling ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut it out. I added it to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Secret Sea card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I trimmed out the words and added them to the card front.
