On Tour Swap

Today I am sharing the card I made as my virtual swap for the recent On Tour Demonstrator Training session. As part of the registration the participants were sent a brand-new stamp set called Etched in Nature and we were encouraged to use this set for our virtual swap. Unfortunately, some of the stamp sets turned out to be defective and Stampin’ Up! Being the fabulous company they are replacing all the sets sent out with a set of the demonstrators choice while they work out the problem.

Using my Stamparatus to stamp the image multiple times; I did manage to get an acceptable image.

Colours used in this project are:

With the image mounted on the Stamparatus plate I used Mossy Meadow and Real Red Markers to add ink to the stamp. I stamped it on the smaller Basic White panel but didn’t get a good image. So I inked it up again using the same pens and thus time I spritzed it with water in the hope that this would work to spread the ink………. And it worked.

I set the panel aside to dry before adding it to the panel of Real Red with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. When dry I splattered some Mossy Meadow ink onto the panel using the Mossy Meadow Marker.

I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink onto scrap Basic White ink and die cut it out using the Layering Circle dies and die cut a slightly larger scalloped circle from scrap Mossy Meadow card. They were glued together with the same liquid glue.

I wrapped a length of Polka Dot Tuile Ribbon around he stamped layer and added the panel to the Mossy Meadow card base.

The sentiment was then added over the ribbon on Dimensionals. To complete the card I added a trio of Red Rhinestones.
