Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing projects showcasing something from the September – December Mini Catalogue. I have made a pretty card using the Branching Out stamp set and some ink blending.
Colours used to make this card are:
To recreate the snowy branches card, you will need:
Gorgeous Grape card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5” by ¼” x 2
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
The thin strips of Basic White card were adhered, at an angle, to the Gorgeous Grape card front and the excess trimmed off.

I stamped the largest branch, in Secret Sea ink onto the 5” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card. I partially inked it up again and stamped it joining onto the original branch.
The pine needles were then stamped using the same ink. I used the smaller trio and the single leaf images.

Using a Blending Brush I added Fresh Freesia ink to the lower third of the stamped panel. Next, I blended on Highland Heather ink and finally Gorgeous Grape ink bringing this down the sides and along the bottom of the panel.

A drop of Whisper White refill was placed on a clear block and a tiny drop of water added to loosen it. With a Water Painter I painted a little white ink onto the pine needle images and stamped over the darker leaves to give the effect of snow. I added a little more water to the ink and used it to add splatter to the panel.

The sentiment, from the Tractor & Co stamp set was stamped in the lower right corner in Secret Sea ink. The whole piece was then glued to the 5⅛” by 3⅜” panel of Basic White card before being mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
