Stargazing card for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are creating projects based on a sketch. I have used the gorgeous Stargazing dsp to make my card. I adjust the sizes to fit with the UK’s cardstock.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the Stargazing card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Stargazing dsp – 5½” by 3⅞”
Stargazing dsp – 4¾” by 3”
Stargazing dsp – 3½” by 2¾”
Stargazing dsp – 3½” by ¾”
Basic White card – 2” by 2”

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the largest panel of Stargazing designer series paper to the Thick Basic White card front.

The 4¾” by 3” piece of designer series paper was added next, off set. The dsp panel measuring 3½” by 2¾” was added next also off set.

Using Scissors, I angled the left-hand side of the final strip of dsp and added it to the card front with the same liquid glue.

The sentiment from the Perched in a Tree stamp set was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto the small square of Basic White card which I then die cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies. This was added to the card front on Dimensionals.
