A beautiful Easter card made using the stunning Easter Lilies stamp set and co-ordinating Dies from Stampin' Up!

Pink Lilies Card – Easter Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Easter Blog Hop where, not surprisingly, we are sharing Easter themed projects. Using the Easter Lilies stamp set I have made a pink lilies card for my aunt who loves a bit of pink.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the lilies for Mother’s Day card, you will need:

Bubble Bath card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 4” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card was run through the Cut & Emboss Machine with Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. The embossed panel was glued to the Basic Black panel and a length of Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon was wrapped around the layer. The whole piece was glued to the Bubble Bath card front.

Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I stamped the large flower, the opening flower, the flower buds and both of leaves onto scrap Basic White card. I die cut them using the co-ordinating Easter Lilies Dies.

I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the flowers, buds and leaves – Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and the Color Lifter.

A rectangle was die cut from the 4” by 2¾” piece of Basic White card using the Everyday Details Dies. The sentiment, from the retired Heartfelt Hellos stamp set, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the die cut rectangle. The rectangle was then glued in place over the ribbon on the card front.

3 cards designed for my February 2024 classes using the Trusty Tools stamp set, Trusty Tools die and the Trusty Toolbox dsp by Stampin' Up!

Trusty Tools Classes

Today, I am sharing the cards I designed for my February Trusty Tools classes. Each of the ladies coming to classes were given a 6” by 6” pack of the Trusty Toolbox dsp to use when making the projects. I love giving dsp samples to my class attendees, especially if we use some of the paper in classes. Many of the ladies only craft when they come to class so I like to give them new techniques and things to try.

Colours in these cards are:

Pop-Up Front Panel card

This card was inspired by Mel Brown of Inspired Crafts

Thick Basic White card base – 10½” by 4” – scored at 5¾”, 6¾”, 8¾” & 9¾”
Thick Basic White – 5¾” by 2⅝” – scored at 4” & 5”
Copper Clay – 4” by 2½”
Trusty Toolbox dsp – 3¾” by 3½”
Trusty Toolbox dsp – 3¾” by 1¾”
Basic White – 3¼” by ¾”
Scarp Basic White – 4⅛” by 2¾”

We each choose the dsp patterns we wanted to use and cut them down to size. They were glued to the larger panel of Thick Basic White card. We folded on the score lines and added Tear & Tape to the 1” tab, folding it over to form the bottom of the card.

Trusty Toolbox dsp – 3⅞” by 2¾”
Trusty Toolbox dsp – 2¾” by 1⅞” x 2

We chose 2 patterns of dsp and cut them to the required sizes and then glued them to the Thick Basic White card front.

The sentiment, from the Heartfelt Hellos stamp set was stamped onto the panel of Basic White card in Poppy Parade ink. I die cut it using the Something Fancy Dies. The sentiment was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

We then die cut or fussy cut, according to preference, 3 of the tools from the sheets of dsp. These were added to the card front using a mixture of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and/or Dimensionals.

Hammer card

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Trusty Toolbox dsp – 5⅝” by 2⅛”
Trusty Toolbox dsp – 5⅝” by 1¾”

After choosing and cutting the 2 panels of dsp, we glued them to the Thick Basic White card front.
