Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White & Copper Foil

From a scrap panel of Basic White card, I die cut a circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies. This was placed over the 5⅛” by 3⅜” panel of Basic White to act as a mask.

I used a Blending Brush to add Night of Navy ink inside the circle, covering about ¾ of the circle. Another Blending Brush added Crumb Cake ink to the lowest ¼” of the circle. The mask was then removed.

New Year Fireworks for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where our theme is New Year Glam. I have used the gorgeous Light In The Sky stamp set to make my card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the New Year fireworks card, you will need:

Starry Sky card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
More Dazzle card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 2⅛” by 1¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

Using Versamark ink I stamped the large firework image onto the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card. I covered it with Copper Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.

I repeated this with the medium sized firework image covering it with Gold Embossing Powder and then the smaller firework image which I embossed in Silver.

Using a Blending Brush, I added Starry Sky ink to the embossed panel until the colour was deep enough. The ink was then reoved from the embossed images with a tissue. The embossed, inked panel was then glued to the More Dazzling Paper and then to the 5¼” by 3½” layer of Basic White card.
