A pretty congratulations card made using the Layers of Beauty stamp set, dies and masks used with the Birthday Celebrations stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Congratulations Card

Today I have been the gorgeous Layers of Beauty stamp set, dies and masks along with the upcoming Birthday Celebrations stamp set to make a congratulations card for a friend.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the congratulations card, you will need:

Pebbled Path card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Calypso Coral card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Country Woods dsp – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 3½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I adhered the panel of Country Woods dsp to the Calypso Coral layer and then glued it to the Pebbled Path card front. I ran strip of Seal + adhesive in the centre of the dsp panel and placed a triple folded piece of Iridescent Stripped Ribbon on top.

The large floral image was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Pebbled Path ink. I used the stencils and Blending Brushes to add colour to the image. The large roses were coloured firstly with Petal Pink ink, then with Petal Pink again and finally with Calypso Coral. The smaller flowers with Balmy Blue and Misty Moonlight and the leaves with Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive. The image was then die cut using the Layers of Beauty Dies.

Using the Nested Essentials Dies, I die cut a banner from the 3½” by 2½” piece of Basic White card. I stamped the sentiment, from the Birthday Celebrations stamp set in Balmy Blue ink onto the die cut banner.

The banners were stamped at the top of the die cut piece in Petal Pink and Calypso Coral ink. I cut the die cut floral image apart and glued a couple of the piece to the banner, one on the left and the other on the right. The decorated banner piece was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of Adhesive-backed Pearls completed the card. So pretty.
