Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are working with a sketch and the added instruction to provide some sparkle. I have used the Lifetime of Love stamp set to make my card.
To recreate the lifetime of love card, you will need:
Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 1¼” & 4⅛” Berry Burst card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Bubble Bath card – 5½” by 3¾” Scrap Basic White and Berry Burst
Three of the stamps from the Lifetime of Love stamp set were mounted onto a single acrylic block, size D.

The images were then inked up with Berry Burst ink and randomly stamped onto the Bubble Bath panel.
Across the panel I ran 2 strips of Tear & Tape as per the sketch. I removed the backing paper to reveal the adhesive and dipped the panel, face down into my tub of Gilded Leafing.

I used a soft brush to remove the excess gilded leafing revealing the stripes. The stamped panel was glued to the Berry Burst layer and then to the Thick Basic White card front.

Today I am sharing the cards I made for this months Christmas Stampathon where our theme is ‘Snow & Ice’. I decided to use the large Snow Crystal stamp to make a one sheet wonder using the baby white technique and icy colours.
6 Card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – I chose Pool Party, Blueberry Bushel, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape – Rounded upper right corner 6 matting layers – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – I chose Pool Party, Blueberry Bushel, Fresh Freesia & Gorgeous Grape – Rounded upper right corner 1½ A4 sheets of Basic White card – after stamping these were cut down to give 6 panels measuring 5¼” by 3½” and rounded the upper right corners 6 Basic White panels – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside – Rounded upper right corner
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Snow Crystal stamp used to make a one sheet wonder using the baby wipe technique for the Christmas Stampathon
I began by laying 3 damp baby wipes on a plate, one on top of the other. I then added spots of re-inker to fill the centre of the baby white layers to make a sort of ink pad. I used Pool Party, Blueberry Bushel, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape & Parakeet Party.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Snow Crystal stamp used to make a one sheet wonder using the baby wipe technique for the Christmas Stampathon
The large snow crystal image was then inked up using the makeshift ink pad and stamped down the length of the 1½ A4 sheets of Basic White card. I twisted the image around so that the colour on the stamp was different each time. I then stamped again from side to side.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Snow Crystal stamp used to make a one sheet wonder using the baby wipe technique for the Christmas Stampathon
The stamped sheets were then cut down into 6 panels each measuring 5¼” by 3½”. I rounded the upper right corner of each panel having decided which were to be portrait and which landscape.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Snow Crystal stamp used to make a one sheet wonder using the baby wipe technique for the Christmas Stampathon
The stamped panels were then glued to the matting layers with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Snow Crystal stamp used to make a one sheet wonder using the baby wipe technique for the Christmas Stampathon
I wrapped a length of Glittered Organdy Ribbon around 5 of the cards – I ran out so used a piece of the silver trim ribbon instead – the ribbon was adhered on the back with Sellotape. The panels were then added to the card bases using the same liquid glue.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Snow Crystal stamp used to make a one sheet wonder using the baby wipe technique for the Christmas Stampathon
I die cut 6 labels using the Something Fancy dies and stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate with Tags stamp set in either Blueberry Bushel or Gorgeous Grape ink onto the labels. These were then added to the card fronts on Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using something that is about to retire from the 2022 – 2023 Annual Catalogue which retires at the end of this month. I have chosen to share a project using the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set, one of my favourites and I am so sad to see it go. I have also used 3 of the colours which are also retiring, So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz.
To recreate the seashells one sheet wonder cards, you will need:
Basic White card – 11¾” by 4⅛” Co-ordinating card bases x 4 – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Co-ordinating layers cut to 5⅝” by 3⅞” or 5½” by 3¾” or 5⅜” by 3⅝”

www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Leaves of Holly stamp set used to stamp a one sheet wonder which makes 4 Christmas cards for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop
I used the same size die, placed it onto the 4 card fronts, drew around the inside to help me position the stamping.
The largest holly leaf was stamped over-lapping the pencil circle, the detailed image in Evening Evergreen and the infill image in Soft Succulent. The smaller holly leaf was then stamped in Shaded Spruce with the infill in Mint Macaron ink.

We had such fun in classes over the last couple of weeks using the Leaves of Holly stamp set to create a holly one sheet wonder and then cut the sheet apart to create four simple cards.
To recreate the holly one sheet wonder cards, you will need:
1 sheet of A4 sheet of Basic White card – to stamp on 4 Card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” 4 Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Basic White strip ¾” wide
Creating the one sheet wonder:
We stamped the larger detailed holly leaf using Evening Evergreen ink and added the solid leafy image overtop using Soft Succulent ink. The smaller holly leaf was stamped in the same way using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and Smoky Slate ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Leaves of Holly stamp set used to make a one-sheet wonder which was then made into 4 Christmas cards for September classes
The outline berries were stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink and the in-fill colour added using Polished Pink ink. We added the dotage image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Soft Sea Foam ink. Finally, we stamped the trio of snowflakes, randomly in Orchid Oasis ink.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Leaves of Holly stamp set used to make a one-sheet wonder which was then made into 4 Christmas cards for September classes
Using a Paper Trimmer, we then cut the A4 sheet into 4 equal pieces by cutting it at 5⅞” on the long side and 4⅛” on the short side.
The ladies then chose 4 card bases form the co-ordinating colours – Soft Sea Foam, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, Polished Pink, Sweet Sorbet & Orchid Oasis.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Leaves of Holly stamp set used to make a one-sheet wonder which was then made into 4 Christmas cards for September classes
Once they had chosen the card bases, they wanted to use, the ladies decided which panels to use for a portrait card and which as a landscape card. They also decided whether to leave the panels whole and plain or to emboss them.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Leaves of Holly stamp set used to make a one-sheet wonder which was then made into 4 Christmas cards for September classes
Some chose to cut them into strips 1¼” wide, or from corner to corner diagonally. I cut layers of a co-ordinating card to mount the strips onto.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Leaves of Holly stamp set used to make a one-sheet wonder which was then made into 4 Christmas cards for September classes
The sentiments were then stamped, either directly onto the panel or onto ¾” strips of Basic White card and trimmed them down before adding them to the card fronts.
www.crafty-rootes.co.uk – The Leaves of Holly stamp set used to make a one-sheet wonder which was then made into 4 Christmas cards for September classes
Everyone’s cards turned out differently and we all really enjoyed putting them together. I hope you like them.
