I began by stamping the largest image in Gray Granite ink and added the second largest in Smoky Slate ink.

Smaller shells stamped in Balmy Blue ink and the little starfishes were added in Sahara Sand ink.

I added the sea weed in Crumb Cake ink and then filled in the blank spaces using the spotty stamp and Basic Gray ink.

The completed sheet was then cut into 4 panels, each measuring 5⅞” by 4⅛”. I looked at each panel in turn, deciding whether they would be made into portrait or landscape cards.

Each panel was then cut down to either 5½” by 3¾” or 5¼” by 3½” and glued to the co-ordinating panels using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I stamped a sentiment on some of the panels in Basic Gray ink and for others I stamped a sentiment in Versamark ink onto scrap Basic Gray card, covered it in White Embossing Powder before heat setting with my Heat Tool. These were then added to the panels.

I wrapped Gray Granite Baker’s Twine around each panel before mounting them onto a card base on Dimensionals. A trio of Fine Sparkle Gems completed the cards.

  1. I love these cards, but I don’t understand what size of cardstock to start with. It says to use: Basic White card – 11¾” by 4⅛”, but that second number can’t be right. Can you verify the size for me?
    Thanks,
    Sandra

    • These are the measurements for A4 cardstock which is what we use in the UK and Europe. It is slightly longer and thinner that the American Letter cardstock. You can make this work by using your normal size sheet of card and cut it into 4 pieces then trim down further to add layers etc x
