Lakeside Retreat Card

Here is my second Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin alternative card made using the April 2026 kit combined with the Relaxing Waterside Stamp set and dies.

 Colours in this card are:

I created the lakeside retreat card using the following supplies:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Piece of card 2 card front – 5½” by ¾”
Misty Moonlight – 5½” by ⅜”
Scrap Basic White & Misty Moonlight

I stamped a couple of clumps of rushes in Peaceful Pine ink, 1st and 2nd generation about 1” from the bottom of the card.

The strip of Misty Moonlight card was adhered to the top of the piece of card front. The whole piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card front covering the bottom of the rushes.

I stamped the sentiment in Peaceful Pine ink onto scrap Basic White card and cut it out using my Paper Trimmer. I cut a slightly larger piece of Misty Moonlight card and adhered the sentiment label to it. This was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are showcasing something we have been playing with recently. The card I am sharing was made with the Relaxing Waterside stamp set and co-ordinating dies.

Basic White – 5⅛” by 3¼”
Hydrangea Hue – 3¼” by 4⅛”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White

I began by stamping the ‘grasses’ along the bottom of the smaller panel of Basic White with Mossy Meadow ink. I only inked the bottom of the image. The full grasses were then stamped in three or four areas using the same colour ink.
