Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are showcasing something we have been creating recently. I have made a sweet split front birthday card for a friend using the adorable Woolly Friends stamp set and Woolly Friends Builder Punch.
I created the split front birthday card using the following supplies:
Lemon Lolly card base – 7” by 4⅛” – scored at 5⅞” Lemon Lolly – 4⅛” by 1⅜” Basic White – 5¾” by 4” – for the inside Basic White by 4” by 1” Basic White – 4” by 1⅛” Balmy Blue – 5½” by 3¼” Basic White – 5” by 3” Scrap Basic White card
I embossed the two 4” strips of Basic White card using the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder and adhered one to the top of the card front and the other to the strip of Lemon Lolly card.

I stamped the trio of tulips with Granny Apple Green ink onto the 5¾” by 4” piece of Basic White card and adhered the panel to the inside of the card. I added colour to the flowers with Pretty In Pink ink.

From the piece of Balmy Blue card, I cut a label using the Nested Essentials Dies. Using the same set of dies I also cut a smaller label from the 5” by 3” piece of Basic White card.

The sentiment, from the Branching Out stamp set was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the white label and added a row of grass with Granny Apple Green ink.

I stamped two sheep bodies and 2 sheep heads in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched them out using the Woolly Friends Builder Punch. I added colour to the sheep’s bodies with either Pretty In Pink or Lemon Lolly ink. One was added with liquid glue and the other on Dimensionals.

Balmy Blue card base – 11” by 4⅛” scored on the long-side at 2⅛, 4¼” and 5½” Balmy Blue – 4⅛” by 3⅜” – front panel mat Basic White 4” by 3¼” – front panel Basic White – 4⅛” by 4” – inside panel Basic White – 4” by 1⅛” – side panel Lemon Lolly– 2½” by ⅜” x 2 Basic White – 3½” by 2¾” – label cut using Nested Essentials dies Scrap Basic White
Fold and burnish the centre scoreline in the usual way then fold the other two scorelines backwards. Add glue to the 1¼” section beside the central scoreline and press the glued piece to the inside of the card to form the book fold.

Glue the separate piece of Balmy Blue card, lined up with the free edge of the top flap to form the Z fold portion.

Stamp the trio of tulips in Granny Apple Green ink at the bottom of the 1⅛” strip of Basic White card and at the bottom right of the 4⅛” by 4” panel of Basic White card. We coloured the flowers and leaves using the following Blends Pens – Light Lemon Lolly, Light Pretty In pink, Light Fresh freesia and Granny Apple Green. The thin strip was adhered to the 1 ¼” section and the larger panel to the inside.

Using the infill stamp for the sheep’s body we randomly stamped all over the 4” by 3¼” piece of Basic White card with 2nd generation Balmy Blue ink. This panel was the adhered to the Z fold front panel.

The sentiment, from the Branching out stamp set was stamped in memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the die cut label.

A row of grass was stamped across the bottom of the die cut label with Granny Apple Green in. We added the trio of tulips to the right with the same ink and coloured them in the same way. The strips of Lemon Lolly card were added, one either side of the die cut label and the whole piece was then glued to the Z fold card front.

The outline sheep’s body and the sheep’s head were stamped on scrap Basic White card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. We also stamped the small bow with the same ink. The body of the sheep was added in Pretty In Pink ink and the bow coloured in with Lemon Lolly. The body and head were added to the card front on Dimensionals and the bow tucked into place.
Easter Blessings Card
Fresh Freesia card – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side Granny Apple Green – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Basic White – 5¼” by 3½” Basic White – 3½” by 2¼” Granny Apple Green – 3½” by ⅜” Granny Apple Green – 1½” by ½” Scrap Basic White & Black
We embossed the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card using the Glass & Garden Embossing Folder and adhered it to the Granny Apple Green layer. The whole piece was glued to the Fresh freesia card base.

The row of grass was repeatedly stamped along the bottom of the 3½” by 2¼” with Granny Apple Green ink.
The jumping sheep was stamped directly onto the strip using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink. We added colour to the body using Fresh Freesia ink. The longer Granny Apple Green strip was then glued to the top of the panel before it was adhered to the card front.

The sentiment, from the Reason To Celebrate stamp set was stamped on the smaller piece of Granny Apple Green card with Black ink and tucked under the panel.

On scrap Basic White card, We stamped the outline sheep and the sheep’s head with the same black ink. Colour was added to the sheep with Lemon Lolly ink before punching both images out.

We stamped the head again in Versamark ink on scrap Basic Black card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using a Heat tool before punching it out.
The Lemon Lolly sheep and white head were added to the card front on Dimensionals and the black head added directly with glue.

The sentiment, from the Simply Said stamp set was stamped at the bottom of the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card with Granny Apple Green ink. The row of grass was then stamped just above it. We added a pair of tulips and coloured them in with Blends Pens.

The outline sheep’s body was stamped to the left and right of the panel with Black ink and another body stamped on scrap Basic White card. Colour was added with Lemon Lolly, Pretty In Pink and Balmy Blue ink. The whole piece was adhered to the Basic Black panel and then to the Pretty In Pink card front.

Three heads were stamped, 2 on scrap Basic White and one, in Versamark ink onto scrap Basic Black card. We added white embossing powder to the black card and set it with my Heat Tool. All the images were the punched out and added to the card front.

I created the sheep amongst flowers card using the following supplies:
Petunia Pop card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side Secret Sea – 5¼” by 3½” Basic White – 5⅛” by 3⅜ Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside Scrap Basic White
I stamped the trio of tulips, twice on the on the smaller panel of Basic White card with Granny Apple Green ink. I added a row of grass using the same colour and coloured the leaves using the same colour again.

I added colour to the flowers by masking them off one at a time and stamped using Petunia Pop, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight ink. The panel was then glued to the Secret Sea layer and then to the Petunia Pop card front.

The body and head of the sheep was stamped with Secret Sea ink onto scrap Basic White card and punched out using the Woolly Friends Builder Punch. I added colour to the body with 2nd generation Basic Beige ink.

The sheep was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals. I added a Petunia Pop bow to the neck of the sheep.

I created the Spring sheep card using the following supplies:

I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink in the lower right corner of the smaller panel of Basic White card.

I used the ‘ground’ image from the Blessed Beginnings stamp set was stamped in a line about an inch from the bottom of the same panel with the same Misty Moonlight ink. The whole panel was glued to the Misty Moonlight layer and then to the Pretty In Pink card front.

The outline sheep bodies were stamped on scrap Basic White card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the heads of the sheep on the same scrap with the same ink. I punched these out using the Woolly Friends Builder Punch.

I added the colour to the bodies of the sheep using the following colours – Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly and Pretty In Pink. I debated whether to use full strength or 2nd generation ink and decided on full strength. The bodies were added to the panel with either Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive or on Dimensionals.

When I saw the Woolly Friends stamp set my first thought was to make it an interactive card using a wobble mechanism and this is the card I came up with.
I created the pink sheep card using the following supplies:
Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” Beautiful Bokeh dsp – 5¼” by 3½” Petal Pink card – 2½” by 2½” Basic White card -2¾” by 2¾” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside Scrap Basic White card
I began by gluing the piece of Beautiful Bokeh dsp to the panel of Basic White card measuring 5⅜” by 3⅝”. This was then adhered to the Petal Pink card front.

I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut a stitched rectangle from the square of Basic White card using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I stamped the grass, in Granny Apple Green ink along the bottom of the die cut square and added a single tulip, in Memento Tuxedo Black ink – I masked off the 2 flowers I didn’t want. The flower was coloured using a Light Calypso Coral and a Light Granny Apple Green Blends Pens. The decorated square was then adhered to the square of Petal Pink card before being added to the card front.

I stamped the body and head of the sheep onto scrap Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched them out using the Woolly Friends Builder Punch. The body of the sheep was coloured using 2nd generation Petal Pink ink and the legs with a Light Crumb Cake Blends Pen. I coloured the hair on the top of the head with a Light Crumb Cake Blends Pen and added colour to the cheeks and ears with Light Petal Pink Blends Pen. The body was added to the card front on Dimensionals and the head added on a wobbler.

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing Valentine or thinking of you cards. I have made my card using the adorable Woolley Friends stamp set and co-ordinating punch.
Shaded Spruce card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” Gorgeous Grape card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” Strips of Perennial Lavender dsp – 4” by ⅜” – about 8 Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside Scrap Basic White card
The strips of Perennial Lavender dsp were glued to the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card, each one at a jaunty angle. The excess was trimmed off and the panel glued to the Gorgeous Grape layer. I adhered the whole panel to the Shaded Spruce card front.

The bow was stamped on Basic White card in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the infill colour added in Highland Heather. I punched it out using the same punch Ns glued it into position.

I stamped the word LOVE, from the Friendly Foliage stamp set onto scrap Basic White card using Shaded Spruce ink. The word EWE, from the Woolly Friends stamp set was stamped with the same ink on the same piece of scrap card. I trimmed them out and added them to the card front.

To recreate the sheep thank you card, you will need:
Sahara Sand card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” Garden Green card – 3¼” by 2⅝” Fluid 100 card – 3⅛” by 2½” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” Strips of Basic White, Balmy Blue and Garden Green ⅜” wide
When I am stamping onto watercolor paper, I usually use my Stamparatus. Because the paper is textured the Stamparatus gives me the option of re-stamping if I miss spots or I want the image to be darker. So, I stamped the fields, trees and sheep in StaZon Jet Black ink.

I added a drop of Balmy Blue re-inker to the lid of the Balmy Blue ink pad and painted in the sky using a Water Painter. After the sky had dried, I coloured the fields in the same way using Garden Green ink.

The trees were painted with Shaded Spruce and the tree trunks in Early Espresso. I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink re-fill to colour in the sheep and left the panel to dry.

The dried panel was then glued to the Garden Green card. I used Seal + as the panel was a little warped. The whole piece was mounted onto the Sahara Sand card base on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Best Family Ever, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink below the mounted image. I flagged the end of the three strips of card, each ⅜” and tucked them under the image.

I designed this card for our team training day swaps. We were given this sketch to act as inspiration and I used it to create a cute card using the On The Farm stamps and dies bundle. This is a little sneak peek of product which will be available in the January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue.
Garden Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” Day at the Farm dsp – 5½” by 3¾” Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3”
I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the panel of dsp to the larger Basic White card panel. This was then added to the Garden Green card front with the same liquid glue.

Using the Deckled Rectangles Dies, I cut out 3 rectangles from the smaller panel of Basic White card/

I inked up the cow image in Early Espresso ink and stamped it onto one of the rectangles. The pigs were stamped on another rectangle in Basic Gray ink and on the last rectangle I stamped the sheep in Basic Gray ink.
I used Garden Green ink, 1st and 2nd generation to add the grass to the bottom of each rectangle and added the blue sky using Balmy Blue ink and a Blending Brush.

The following Blends Pens were used to colour in the images – Crumb Cake and Soft Suede for the cow, Flirty Flamingo for the pigs and Gray Granite for the sheep. The decorated rectangles were added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the This Birthday Piggy was stamped in Garden Green ink onto the remains of the smaller Basic White panel and used the smallest Deckled Rectangle Die to cut it out. I moved the die to make the rectangle smaller. The sentiment was then added to the card front with liquid glue and a Dimensional.
This is such an adorable card, perfect for a child. I love it.
