A pretty thank you card made using the Country Flowers stamp set and co-ordinating dies from Stampin' Up!

Country Flowers card

The card I am sharing today is made with the pretty new stamp set called Country Flowers, available from the 1^st May 2024 in the new annual catalogue.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the country flowers card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Fresh As A Daisy dsp – 5⅞” by 2”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card and Fresh As A Daisy dsp

Using Balmy Blue ink, I stamped the leafy spray in the upper left and lower right corners of the Balmy Blue card front.

I flagged the end of the 5⅞” by 2” piece of Fresh as a Daisy dsp and glued it down the centre of the card front.

Using a Blending Brush, I added Balmy Blue ink to the centre of the 4¼” by 3” panel of Basic White card. I stamped the ‘ground’ image from the Trucking Along stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and added the sentiment, from the Simply Said stamp set, in Balmy Blue ink below. The panel was then glued to the card front.

The image of the teapot was stamped onto a scrap of Fresh As A Daisy dsp using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The leafy spray was stamped on scrap Basic White card with the same ink. Both pieces were then die cut using the Country Flowers Dies.

The leaves were coloured with the Granny Apple Green Blend Pens. I mounted the teapot and leaves onto the card front on Dimensionals.

A bow made from the 2022 – 2024 In Color Twine and a trio of Classic Matte Dots finished the card.

Row of Coffee Cups – Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are saying goodbye to the 2022 – 2024 In Colors which will retire in 10days. These bright, vibrant colours have been fun to use and I will miss them, particularly Parakeet Party! I have used the Latte Love stamp set and dies to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the row of coffee cups card, you will need:

Starry Sky card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 2⅛”
Parakeet Party card – 5⅞” by ¾”
Tahitian Tide card – 5⅞” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, Starry Sky & Pecan Pie

From scraps of cardstock, I die cut a mini coffee cup in Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky. I also die cut the little coffee pieces for the top of the cups from scrap Pecan Pie card.

I placed the cups on the 5⅞” by 2⅛” panel of Basic White card. I moved them around until I was happy with the layout. Each cup was then lifted up and the ‘coffee splatter’ image was stamped in the co-ordinating colour. I used 2^nd generation ink. Each cup was then added on a Dimensional.

The sentiment was stamped in Starry Sky ink above the cups.

Using the Basic Borders Dies, I die cut a decorative edge from the strips of Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide card. These were then glued to the bottom of the stamped panel.

The whole piece was then glued to the Starry Sky card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I used the co-ordinating Blends Pens to colour in the Classic Matte Dots, one for each colour. These were then added to the card front.

Coffee Anyone?

Today I am sharing a thank you card featuring a mug of coffee made using the Latte Love stamp set and co-ordinating Dies.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the coffee anyone card, you will need:

Pretty Peacock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Stargazing dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – For the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The panel of Stargazing dsp was adhered to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card. A length of White Diagonal Trim was wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the Pretty Peacock card base.

The coffee mug, from the Latte Love stamp set, was stamped onto scrap Basic White card with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I die cut it out using the Latte Love Dies.

I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the mug – Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and the Color Lifter.

From the square of Basic White card, I die cut a Deckled Circle. A Smoky Slate Blends Pen added some colour to ground the mug before it was glued down to the circle. The circle was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto scrap Basic White card and trimmed out with Scissors before it was added to the card front.

Purple Zinnias card

Today I am sharing a pretty purple zinnia card made using the Simply Zinnias stamp set and dies and the Perennial Lavender dsp.

To recreate the purple zinnia card, you will need:

Gorgeous Grape card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Perennial Lavender dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Perennial Lavender dsp – 3¾” by 1”
Three colour glimmer paper – Highland Heather – 3¾” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The large piece of Perennial Lavender dsp was glued to the largest Basic White panel and then to the Gorgeous Grape card front.

The strip of Highland Heather Glimmer paper was glued to the strip of Perennial Lavender dsp and this piece was the adhered to the card front.

From the 4¼” by 2½” piece of Basic White card I die cut a rectangle using the Everyday Details dies. I used Gorgeous Grape ink to stamp the sentiment and to randomly add the dotty image.

I stamped the large zinnia flower and double leaf image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White card. These were then die cut using the Simply Zinnias Dies.

The images were coloured using the following Blends Pens – Light Fresh Freesia, Light & Dark Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly and Pretty Peacock. The flower and leaf were then glued to the die cut label. The label was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals

Lily Thank You Card

I have used the Easter Lilies stamp set and co-ordinating dies to make a simple Lily themed thank you card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the lily thank you card, you will need:

Highland Heather card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Bubble Bath card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Glimmer Paper – 3” by 1½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 1¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Basic White card

On the panel of Bubble Bath card, I randomly stamped the opening bloom in Bubble Bath ink. I glued the stamped panel to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card. The whole panel was then adhered to the Highland Heather card base.

The sentiment, from the Simply Zinnias stamp set was stamped in Highland Heather ink onto scrap Basic White card and was then die cut using the Everyday Details Dies. I used Mini Glue Dots to adhere the sentiment label to the piece of Highland Heather Glimmer Paper. This was mounted onto the card base on Dimensionals.

The opening bloom, double buds and leafy sprig from the Easter Lilies stamp set were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White card. I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the images – Highland Heather, Bubble Bath, Granny Apple Green and the Color Lifter.

Using the Easter Lilies Dies, I die cut the images and added them to the card front using liquid glue.

I have used the gorgeous Simply Zinnias stamp set and dies to make a pretty pink zinnia card.

To recreate the pink zinnia card, you will need:

Berry Burst card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Berry Burst card – 5½” by 3¾”
Lighter Than Air dsp – 5⅜” by 2”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Blackberry Bliss card – 1 ½” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The panel of Berry Burst card was embossed using the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. The panel was then glued to the 5⅝” by 3⅞” piece of Basic White card. The whole panel was then glued to the Berry Burst card front.

The Lighter Than Air dsp was then glued to the embossed panel. I added 2 strips of Tear & Tape to the card front and used it to attach the Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon to the front of the card.

From the small panel of Basic White card, I die cut the circle using the Everyday Details Dies. The circle was then adhered over the ribbon.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the large zinnia flower with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the image – light Bubble Bath, light Melon Mambo, dark berry burst, light and dark Pumpkin Pie and light Pecan Pie. The flower was die cut using the Simply Zinnias Dies and added to the centre of the circle on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Best Family Ever stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the small strip of Blackberry Bliss card, covered with White Embossing Powder and heat set using my Heat Tool before adding it to the card front.

Embossed Enduring Beauty card for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by the theme of Flora or Fauna. I have gone with flora and used the stunning Enduring Beauty Bundle to make my card.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the embossed enduring beauty card, you will need:

Soft Sea Foam card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 4⅞” by 3½”
One Horse Open Sleigh dsp – 5¼” by 4”
Basic White card – 5” by 4”
Soft Sea Foam card – 2¼” by ½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

Using the Deckled Rectangles, I die cut a rectangle from the piece of One Horse Open Sleigh dsp. This was then glued to the 5” by 4” piece of Basic White card. I wrapped a piece of Iridescent Ribbon around the panel and adhered the piece to the Soft Sea Foam card base.

The large floral image was stamped in Versamark ink. I covered it with Black Embossing Powder and heat set it.

Using washi tape I secured the embossed panel of Basic White card to my Glass Mat. The first mask was positioned on top and held in place with more washi tape.

I used a Blending Brush to ink through the mask with Highland Heather ink. Using mask number 3, a Blending Brush and Gorgeous Grape ink I added the detailed layer of ink to the flowers.

The 2nd mask was positioned, exposing the leaves. Using Blending Brushes I lightly inked with Old Olive. I decided not to add the detailed image as the black embossing gives a lot of dimension already.

I die cut the floral image using the Enduring Beauty Dies and mounted the die cut piece on Dimensionals to the card front.

The sentiment, from the Earthen Textures stamp set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the strip of Soft Sea Foam ink. The sentiment was then added to the card front/

Latte Love card

Oh my goodness, I love the new Latte Love stamp set, one of our new online exclusive product which will be available from the 5^th March. I am not a big coffee drinker but I do love a mug!

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the latte love card, you will need:

Tahitian Tide card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pecan Pie card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Pecan Pie card – 2½” by ½”
Parakeet Party card – 2½” by ¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I mounted the group of coffee beans and the single bean together on the same block and randomly stamped these around the edges of the Tahitian Tide card front in Tahitian Tide ink. This gives a subtle texture to the card front.

The ‘splash’ image was randomly stamped all over the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card using 1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd generation Pecan Pie ink. I used a Blending Brush to add colour around the edges of the panel in the same Pecan Pie ink. The whole piece was then glued to the Pecan Pie layer.

A length of Tahitian Tide Metallic Ribbon was wrapped around and tied in a bow on the left-hand side. I used a little Tear & Tape to secure the rinbbon on the back. The panel was glued to the Tahitian Tide card front.

Two mugs were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White card, I stamped the coffee in the top of the mugs using Pecan Pie ink. The mugs were then die cut using the Latte Love dies. I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the mugs – Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide. The mugs were then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip og Pecan Pie card, covered with White Embossing Powder and heat set. I flagged the ends of the sentiment and the ends of the strip of Parakeet Party card which was glued behind the sentiment. The hole piece was added, over the ribbon to the card front.

Masterfully Made card – Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

I have chosen to use the line down the left hand side – Thank you, Embossing & DSP. I used the Masterfully Made designer series paper and the layered Florals 3D Embossing Powder to make my card.

To recreate the Masterfully Made card, you will need:

Starry Sky card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Masterfully Made dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Fresh Freesia

Using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder I ran the panel of dsp through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine using the Speciality Plate. I placed the embossed piece on my Glass Mat with the de-bossed side uppermost.

The Starry Sky ink pad was then repeatedly rubbed over the dsp panel until the colour was dark enough and the Fresh Freesia dsp showed up nicely. The inked dsp panel was then glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” layer of Basic White card.

A length of ribbon was then wrapped around the panel, secured with Tear & Tape and the whole piece was then glued to the Starry Sky card base.

One of the pretty frames from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set was stamped onto scrap Fresh Freesia using Starry Sky ink. The frame was then punche out using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. The sentiment, from the Biggest Wish stamp set was stamped inside the frame using the same ink. I punched a white hexagon, cut it in half from side to side and glued it to the reverse of the sentiment with a little bit peeking out at the top and the bottom. The sentiment was mounted over the ribbon on Dimensionals.

A trio of Tinsel Gems as added to the sentiment label and a Glittered Organdy bow completed the card.

Stunning Zinnias card

I have been playing with the Simply Zinnias stamp set, one of our new online exclusives which will be available from the 5th March 2024 and it is gorgeous. I have made a stunning zinnias thank you card.

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”

The panel of Flight & Airy designer series paper (dsp) was glued to the Pumpkin Pie layer. The strip of Stargazing dsp was glued across the panel.

Some Linen Thread was wrapped, twice around the panel before it was glued down to the Thick Basic White card base.

The gorgeous spray of zinnias was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto one of the 5” by 4” panels of Basic White card. It was then die cut using the Simply Zinnia Dies.

The spray of flowers were coloured in using the following Blends Pens – Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst, Old Olive and Pecan Pie.

I die cut a background panel using the Scalloped Contour Dies and added it to the card front on Dimensionals. The flowers were then added to the panel on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive ink onto scrap Basic White card, I masked off the part of the sentiment I did not want before stamping. The sentiment was then die cut using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I ran it through my cut and emboss machine twice to make the label smaller. I used a Blending Brush to add Old Olive ink around the edges of the label before adding it to the card front on Dimensionals.
