Lakeside Retreat Card

Here is my second Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin alternative card made using the April 2026 kit combined with the Relaxing Waterside Stamp set and dies.

 Colours in this card are:

 

I created the lakeside retreat card using the following supplies:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Piece of card 2 card front – 5½” by ¾”
Misty Moonlight – 5½” by ⅜”
Scrap Basic White & Misty Moonlight

 

I stamped a couple of clumps of rushes in Peaceful Pine ink, 1st and 2nd generation about 1” from the bottom of the card.

The strip of Misty Moonlight card was adhered to the top of the piece of card front. The whole piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card front covering the bottom of the rushes.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the Adirondack chair with Early Espresso ink. I added colour using the Gray Granite Blends Pens.

The chair was then die cut using the Relaxing Waterside dies.

I stamped the sentiment in Peaceful Pine ink onto scrap Basic White card and cut it out using my Paper Trimmer. I cut a slightly larger piece of Misty Moonlight card and adhered the sentiment label to it. This was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Vase of Flowers Card

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are combining old with new product. I have used the new Garden Gatherings stamp set and dies with the old Banner Sayings stamp set and Three Banner Punch to make a pretty thank you card.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

I created the vase of flowers card using the following supplies:

Old Olive card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Lovely Blossoms dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Old Olive – 3⅝” by 2”
Basic White – 3½” by 1⅞”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive and Lovely Blossoms dsp

 

The panel of Lovely Blossoms dsp was glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card and then to the Old Olive card front.

Using the same set of dies I die cut 3 leafy sprigs from scrap Old Olive card and 3 flowers from scrap Flirty Flamingo card. These were added to the back of the die cut vase using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I used a Cloud Cover Blends Pen to add a little ‘ground’ to the small panel of Basic White card and added the vase on Dimensionals.

Fragrant Floral Card – Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday where we are sharing projects featuring heat embossing. I have made my card using the Fragrant Layers stamp set and some Copper Embossing Powder.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

I created the lovely fresh freesia card using the following supplies:

Garden Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic White – 5⅛” by 3⅝”
Fluid 100 – 5” by 3½”
Basic White – 3” by ¾”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

 

I mounted the large outline, floral image onto the large Stamp Positioner Plate, inked it up with Versamark ink before stamping it a couple of times on the Fluid 100 card.

The panel was then covered with Copper Embossing Powder and set using my Heat Tool.

I coloured the flowers using Poppy Parade ink and Water Painters. The flower centres were added with Daffodil Delight ink. The leaves were coloured with Garden Green and to small buds with Highland Heather ink. I set the panel aside to dry.

When the panel was dry, I coloured the background in using Pool Party ink and set it aside to dry.

When dry, I adhered the water coloured panel to the 5⅛” by 3⅝” piece of Basic White card and added it to the Garden Green card front on Dimensionals.

Floral Card

Here is a pretty card made using the gorgeous Artisan Sketched Garden designer series paper (dsp) and the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

I created the Floral card using the following supplies:

Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic Black – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Hydrangea Hue- 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White – 5⅛” by 3½”
Basic White – 4½” by 2¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

 

I used the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder to emboss the 5⅛” by 3½” panel of Basic White card. I wrapped a piece of Black Baker’s Twine around the layer before adding it to the Hydrangea Hue panel, then the Basic Black panel. Finally, the whole piece was glued to the Flirty Flamingo card base.

Using sharp scissors, I fussy cut the group of flowers from one of the sheets from the pack of Artisan Sketched Garden dsp.

Extraordinary Flora Card

Today’s card is made using the gorgeous Extraordinary Flora stamp set and dies which are still available in my online shop.

I created the extraordinary flora card using the following supplies:

Petunia Pop card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Summer Splash – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White – 4½” by 3½”
Basic White – 5¾” by 3½”
Basic White 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

 

I ran the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. This piece was then glued to the Summer Splash panel and then to the Petunia Pop card front.

I stamped the large floral image onto the Basic White panel measuring 5¾” by 3½” using Secret Sea ink and used the following colours of Blends Pens – Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, Lemon Lolly, Peach Pie, Summer Splash, Soft Sea Foam & Old Olive. The images were then die cut using the Extraordinary Flora die.

Leafy Silhouette Card – Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing a project using Blending Brushes. I have chosen to share a simple stamps, ink and paper card made using the Greenery Lane stamp set and some ink blending.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

I created the Leafy Silhouette card using the following supplies:

Coastal Cabana card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Secret Sea – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

 

In the centre of a large scrap panel of Basic White card I die cut a circle using the largest of the circle dies from the Stylish Shapes dies. This was placed over the smaller piece of Basic White card to act as a mask, held in place with washi tape.

I used a Blending Brush to apply Coastal Cabana ink to the negative space, slowly building up the colour. The mask was then removed.

I embossed the panel of Pretty In Pink card using the So Swirly Embossing Folder and adhered it to the largest panel of Basic White card. The whole piece was glued to the Petunia Pop card base.

Spotlight Floral Card

Here is another floral card made using the Flowers Fair stamp. This time I used the spotlight technique.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

I created the Spotlight Floral card using the following supplies:

Azure Afternoon card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Timid Tiger – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White – 5” by 3¼”
Timid Tiger – 4 ½” by ⅜”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

 

Using a Stamp Positioner, I stamped the large background stamp on the smaller piece of Basic White card using Secret Sea ink. the piece of card.

I used a 2” Circle Punch to punch out a section of the stamped panel and the piece with the punched-out section was then glued to the Timid Tiger panel and then to the Azure Afternoon card front.

I flagged the ends of the thin strip of Timid Tiger card. Using Secret Sea ink, I then stamped the sentiment, from the Help Me Grow stamp set on either end.  The strip was then adhered to the card front across the centre of the punched-out circle.

The die cut circle was then placed back in position, raised up on Dimensionals taking care to line up the image.

A trio of 2026 – 2027 in color Flat Pearls finished the card.

Baby Pink Flowers Card

Here is a pretty thank you card made using the Lovely Arrangements stamp set and a pink colour palette.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

I created the baby pink flowers card using the following supplies:

Bubble Bath card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Berry Burst – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White – 5¼” by 3½”
Berry Burst – 3” by 1”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

Using Secret Sea ink, I randomly stamped the two flowers all over the smaller panel of Basic White card.

I used Bubble Bath Blends Pens to add colour to each of the flowers.

A length of ⅛” Bubble Bath Ribbon was wrapped around the panel before it was adhered to the larger Berry Burst layer. The whole piece was then glued to the Bubble Bath card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink on the small strip of Berry Burst card, covered with White Embossing Powder and set using my Heat Tool.

Product of the Month – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects showcasing either the December 2025 (True Blue Floral dsp) or January 2026 (Fabulous Sayings stamp set) product of the month. I have decided to use both products on my card as both are still available in the UK.

Colours used in this card are:

 

I created the product of the month card using the following supplies:

Night of Navy card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
True Blue Florals dsp – 5¼” by 3½” x 3
Basic White – 2½” by 2½”
Basic White – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

 

I stacked the 3 panels of True Blue Floral dsp one on top of the other, took them to my Paper Trimmer and cut them into 3 pieces.

I took one piece from each pattern and arranged them on the 5⅜” by 3⅝” piece of Basic White card leaving a small gap between them. They were then glued in place.

I ran the whole panel through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder to add texture, the whole panel was glued to the Night of Navy card front.

From scrap Basic White card I die cut a selection of leaves from the gallery Blooms Dies  and arranged them on the card front.

I cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies, stamped the sentiment from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set on the circle with Night of Navy ink and a added it to the card front on Dimensionals over the white leaves.
