Tiled Sea Creatures’ for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have been given a sketch of a slimline card as our inspiration. I have teamed the Whale Done stamp set with the sketch to make a pretty tiled sea creatures’ card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the tiled sea creatures’ card, you will need:

Coastal Cabana card base – 8” by 8” – scored at 4”
Bermuda Bay – 4” by 1¾”
Night of Navy – 4” by 1½”
Basic White – 1¼” by 1¼” x 3
Basic White – 7¾” by 3¾”

I stamped the small sea creatures, seaweed and coral onto the 3 panels of Basic White card using Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Poppy Parade ink.

These tiles were added to the Night of Navy strip using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The panel was then glued to the Bermuda Bay panel and mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

Using Coastal Cabana ink, I added seaweed to the bottom of the Coastal Cabana card front.

The air bubbles were stamped in Bermuda Bay onto the card front.

A trio of Iridescent Rhinestones completed the card.
