Vase of Chrysanthemums Card

I have used the Inspiring Imperfections stamp set to make this cute card featuring a vase of chrysanthemums.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the vase of chrysanthemums card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Petunia Pop card – 5½” by 3¾”
Cloud Cover card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 1¼” by ⅜”
Scrap Basic White card

I embossed the piece of Cloud Cover card using the Damask Design Embossing Folder and adhered it to the Petunia Pop panel. A piece of (possibly retired) Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon was wrapped around the panel before it was glued to the Thick Basic White card front.

A large label was die cut from the 5¼” by 3¼” Basic White card using the Nested Essentials Dies. I randomly stamped the dotting image from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set on the label with Cloud Cover ink. The label was then adhered to the card front.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped 3 chrysanthemum flowers using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the flowers in using the Petunia Pop and Old Olive Blends Pens. They were die cut using the Inspiring Imperfections Dies.

The tall vase was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Basic White card. I covered it with Gold Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. The whole vase was coloured in using the Light Cloud Cover Blends Pen and the flowers picked out with the Dark Cloud Cover Blends Pen. Using a craft knife I cut a slit in the top of the vase and inserted the stem of 2 of the flowers. The whole piece was then added to the label on Dimensionals. The final flower was slipped underneath the vase and glued in position.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set with Petunia Pop ink onto the small piece of Basic White card. This was then glued to the card front.
