I have made today’s card for the Colour Inkspirations Challenge using the Balloon Festoon stamp set and dies.
Colours used to make this card are:
I created the celebration balloon card using the following supplies:
Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored on the long-side at 4⅛”
Basic White – 4½” by 3½”
Crushed Curry dsp- 4½” by 1” x 2
Lost lagoon – 4⅛” by 1”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Crushed Curry, Azure Afternoon, Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake
I used the confetti image to add texture to the upper left and lower right of the Crumb Cake card front using Crumb Cake ink. The strip of Lost Lagoon card was then glued across the centre of the card front.

From the 4½” by 3½” piece of Basic White card I die cut a scalloped rectangle. Using a Blending Brush I added Azure Afternoon to the centre of the die cut rectangle and randomly stamped the confetti image using 2nd generation Azure Afternoon ink.

I die cut the short side of the scalloped rectangle from the strips of Crushed Curry ink and glued them to the top and bottom of the White rectangle. The whole piece was mounted onto the card front using Mini Glue Dots.

From scrap Crushed Curry, Azure Afternoon and Lost Lagoon card I die cut the smallest balloon. From scrap Crumb Cake card I die cut three balloon strings. I stamped some of the decorative images onto the balloons in co-ordinating inks and added the strings to each balloon before adhering them to the inked rectangle.

The sentiment was stamped on scrap Azure Afternoon card with Azure Afternoon ink before being cut apart and added to the panel. Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine bows were added to two of the balloons and a trio of 2026 – 2028 In Color Dots finished the card.
