Birdie Birthday card made for the Birthday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Birthday Blog Hop where we are sharing birthday related projects. My masculine birdie birthday card is made using the Bird’s Eye View stamp set.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the birdie birthday card, you will need:

Lost lagoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pretty Peacock card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Fresh As A Daisy dsp – 3¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4” by 2”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White & Pretty Peacock card

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the panel of Fresh As A Daisy dsp to the bottom of the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card. This layer was then glued to the Pretty Peacock layer and then to the Lost Lagoon card front.

The sentiment, from the On the Ocean stamp set was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto scrap Basic White card and trimmed it down with scissors. It was then glued in place with the top tucked behind the die cut label. The whole piece was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
