Ladybird in Yellow Flowers

The pretty Hello Ladybug stamp set was out on my desk today and I used it to make a pretty Ladybird themed card.

Colours used in my card today are:

To recreate the ladybird card, you will need:

Daffodil Delight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic Black card – 2½” by 2⅜”
Basic White card – 2⅛” by 2¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Daffodil Delight, Sweet Sorbet & Basic Black

I stamped the trio of flowers in Daffodil Delight ink all over the 5⅝” by 3⅞” panel of Basic White card and added the trio of dots in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The stamped panel was then glued to the Daffodil Delight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The small panel of Basic White was glued to the Basic Black layer and then to the card front using the same liquid glue.

Using the Ladybug Builder Punch, I punched a ladybird body from scrap Basic Black card. The wings were stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink onto scrap Basic White card and punched out. I shaped the wings using a Bone Folder and glued them to the black body with a little liquid glue. I added the bug to the white square on Dimensionals.
