Bright Trees Christmas card

I have had the Merriest Trees stamp set and dies on my desk and have used it to make a bright trees Christmas card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the bright trees card, you will need:

Parakeet Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Orchid Oasis card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 3” by ⅝”
Scrap Basic White card

Using a Blending Brush and inked the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White with Pool Party ink. I had placed a punched 1” circle in the upper right corner to mask off the ‘sun’. The mask was removed and the circle lightly inked.

The large tree from the Merriest Trees stamp set was stamped onto scrap Basic White card, firstly in Parakeet Party and then in Orchid Oasis ink.

Both trees were die cut, the full image with the largest tree die and the next size down tree used to die cut the Parakeet Party tree.

The trees were added to the inked panel, the larger flat and the smaller popped up on Dimensionals. The panel was glued to the Orchid Oasis panel and then to the Parakeet Party card base.

The sentiment was stamped in Orchid Oasis ink onto the strip of Basic White card which was then trimmed down and added to the card front.
