Cactus Garden

Here is a pretty card made using the Cactus Cuties and Home & Garden stamp sets along with the Stitched Rectangle and Garden dies.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the garden cactus card, you will need:

Cinnamon Cider card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Bloom Where You’re Planted dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Bloom Where You’re Planted dsp – 4” by 2½”
Scrap Basic White and Silver Foil

I glued the larger panel of dsp to one of the Basic White layers and used the same liquid glue to adhere the panel to the Cinnamon Cider card base.

Using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and my Mini Cut & Emboss Machine I cut a rectangle from the smaller panel of dsp. The rectangle was glued to the card front. The sentiment from the Cactus Cuties stamp set was stamped on the rectangle in Cinnamon Cider ink.

The cactus was stamped in Granny Apple Green ink and cut out in the same way. I added Dimensionals to the pot and the plant and added them to the card front.

I coloured in the handle with Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate Blends Pens. It was added to the card with a Dimensional.
