Elegant Papaya

Here is a clean and simple monochromatic elegant papaya card made using the Elegantly Said stamp set and Pale Papaya which is one of the new In Colors for 2021 – 2023.

The colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Elegant Papaya card, you will need:

Calypso Coral – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5¼” by 3½” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner
Scrap Calypso Coral & Basic White

I stamped the pretty floral image from the Elegantly Said stamp set in Pale Papaya ink around the edge of the Pale Papaya card front.

The same image was stamped twice in the same ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card.

The stamped panel was then added to the Calypso Coral layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I wrapped a piece of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon around the pale, adhering it on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then added to the card front with the same glue.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped onto scrap Basic White card in Calypso Coral ink. I then die cut the sentiment using the Tasteful Labels Dies and my Mini Cut & Emboss Machine.

Using the same die I cut another label from the scrap Calypso Coral card. I cut the label in two and added the pats behind the sentiment to give a little peek of colour. The label was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I added a bow using the same ribbon and a trio of Genial Gems to complete the card.

Pretty card, love his new colour.
