Flowers Behind a Frame Card

Today, I am sharing a pretty card made using the Flourish & Frames stamp set and co-ordinating Hot Foil Dies.

Colours used in making this card are:

I created the flowers behind a frame card using the following supplies:

Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Basic Gray – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White – 2½” by 2”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

Using the large floral image, I stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Flirty Flamingo card front using Flirty Flamingo ink.

I stamped the same image on the 4⅞” by 3⅛” piece of Basic White card using Basic Gray ink. I added the smaller rose image and a couple of smaller flowers using the same ink. I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the flowers – Flirty Flamingo, Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lolly. The decorated panel was then glued to the Basic Gray layer.

Using a Dark Flirty Flamingo Blends Pen I coloured in a length of White Baker’s Twine and wrapped it around the whole panel before it was adhered to the Flirty Flamingo card front.
