Forever Lovely for a team challenge

Today I am sharing a card made using the Forever Lovely Bundle for our team challenge. We were asked to CASE one of our own cards and after some thought I chose this sweet card made in December 2018.

I have kept many of the elements from the original card but wanted to use brighter, richer colours.

I began by stamping the circle from The Swirly Frames stamp set in Gray Granite ink onto a large scrap of Whisper White cardstock and die cut it using The Layering Circle dies and my Big Shot. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Gray Granite ink.

The flowers were stamped in Berry Burst ink or Bermuda Bay ink and die cut using the Lovely Flowers dies. A couple of flowers were also fussy cut using my sharp scissors. I also stamped the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink onto Granny Apple Green cardstock and die cut them. Finally I die cut the small flowers in both Berry Burst cardstock and Coastal Cabana cardstock.

I added all the pieces to a layer of Whisper White cardstock, 5¼” by 3½” using either Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive or Stampin Dimensionals. This decorated panel was layered onto a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock measuring 5⅜” by 3⅝” with Multipurpose glue. The whole topper was then added to a Berry Burst card base. I added a trio of Glitter Enamel Dots to add a little shine to the card.

I stamped the large flower in Bermuda Bay ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock 5⅜” by 3⅝” and added the layer inside the card. The same image was stamped on an envelope. Ooh I neraly forgot – I also rounded the upper right corners on all the layers using the Detailed Trio Punch.
