Half Full – GDP #165

This week’s GDP #165 challenge is to make a project using the colours; Crumb Cake, Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide. I have to say these aren’t colours I would normally gravitate towards but I really enjoyed using them. This is what I came up with.

Making the card

I chose the Half Full stamp set and stamped the bottles in the Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide onto Very Vanilla cardstock and added a layer of Merry Merlot behind having rounded the upper right corners………love a rounded corner!

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed in White on Tranquil Tide. The whole piece was then added to a layer of Merry Merlot. I wrapped a piece of Braided Linen Twine to the stamped piece and tied a bow.
