Lasting Lily

I have had my first play with the gorgeous new Lasting Lily stamp set. This is one of the Sale-a-Bration choices that you can get for free with a £90 order.

Making the card

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock measuring 5⅛” by 3⅜”. I inked up the large lily with the Grapefruit Grove ink and stamped it onto the panel. The smaller lily was stamped in the same way. Next I inked up the stems with Garden Green ink which I stamped off once before stamping it onto the Whisper White panel.

I wrapped a piece of Braided Linen Trim around the bottom of the panel and adhered it to the back with Sellotape. The stamped panel was then glued to a piece of Wood Textures dsp measuring 5⅜” by 3⅝”.

I chose a Grapefruit Grove card base and added a 4⅛” by ½” strip od Gingham Gala dsp towards the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The stamped panel was added to the card front with Dimensionals. I added a trio of Faceted Dots to complete the card.

The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock. I die cut the sentiment using my Big Shot and the Rectangle Stitched dies and added it to the Braided Linen Trim with Mini Glue Dots

Such a pretty stamp set. I hope you like the card.
