Magnolia Blooms

Here is sweet congratulations card made using the Magnolia Blooms stamp set which can be found in our Beginner’s Brochure.

To recreate the Magnolia Blooms card you will need:

Seaside Spray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Soft Sea Foam – 5⅛” by 3½” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White 5” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner – inside
Soft Sea Foam 4” by ½”

I began by stamping the flower image, twice in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smaller Whisper White panel.

The following Blends Marker pens were used to colour in the flower images – Seaside Spray Combo, Soft Sea Foam combo, So Saffron light.

The stamped layer was glued to the Soft Sea Foam layer with Multipurpose liquid Adhesive and added to the Seaside Spray card base on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was inked up with Versamark then straight into the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and immediately  stamped onto the strip of Soft Sea Foam cardstock – I used the Embossing Buddy on the layer beforehand. The stamped sentiment was then covered with Clear Embossing Powder  and heat set with my Heat Tool. I used the Banner triple Punch to flag both ends and glued the strip to the card front.

I stamped the flower on the inside Whisper White panel anf the envelope and added a trio of Woven Threads Sequins to finish the card.

I love the soft colour palette of this card, hope you like it.
