Mint Poinsettia card for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where our theme is ‘anything goes’ and I have chosen to share a mint poinsettia card made recently using scraps of the Boughs of Holly designer Series Paper (dsp) left over from another project.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the shaded poinsettia Christmas card, you will need:

Mint Macaron card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Mint Macaron card – 5½” by 3¾”
Boughs of Holly dsp – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Boughs of Holly dsp
Basic White strip ¼” wide

I die cut a large scalloped circle from the gorgeous Boughs of Holly dsp, placed it onto the Mint Macaron card front to get an idea for position then I stamped around it with a tree from the Trees For Sale stamp set and Mint Macaron ink.

I fussy cut one of the pretty poinsettias from the Boughs of Holly dsp and added it to the Basic White circle with liquid glue. The circles were then adhered together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added to the card front on Dimensionals.
