Oyster Shell card for the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using product from the Mini Catalogue. I have used the pretty Seaside Bay stamp set and co-ordinating By the Bay dsp to make a pretty oyster themed card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the oyster shell card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
By the Bay dsp – 5⅞” by 2⅛”
By the Bay dsp – 5⅞” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 2¾” by 2¾”
Night of Navy card – 1½” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Pool Party card

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the smaller strip of By the Bay dsp to the larger piece or dsp and then to the Pool Party card base.

Using Pool Party ink, I stamped the seashell background onto the Stitched Square and mounted it onto the card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the oyster shell in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the scrap Pool Party card and die cut it using the Seaside Bay Dies. It was added to the card front with liquid glue. I added a Flat Backed Adhesive Pearl to the centre of the shell.

The sentiment, from the Thanks a Bunch stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Night of Navy card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool. I trimmed it down and tucked it under the stitched square.
