Painted Glass for a team member promotion

Today I am sharing a card I made recently using the Painted Glass Stamp set and co-ordinating Stained Glass dies. I made the card for my lovely team member Jill who promoted to Bronze Elite, well done Jill.

Making the painted Glass card

I started by using my Embossing Buddy on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock then stamping the gorgeous sentiment from the Painted Glass stamp set in Versamark ink. I covered the sentiment with Copper Embossing Powder before using my Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder. I really love this gothic style font and it looks amazing when embossed.

I die cut the sentiment using the Stitched Shaped framelit dies and die cut a scalloped oval using the Layered Oval dies from Copper Foil. I glued these together using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

On another scrap of Whisper White card I stamped the rose image 4 times in Versamark ink, covered it with Copper Embossing Powder then heated it with my Heat Tool. Taking the Flirty Flamingo ink and the Highland Heather ink and Sponge daubers I applied ink to all the flowers. When they were all coloured I ran them through my Big Shot with the co-ordinating Stained Glass dies.

I cut a panel of Whisper White cardstock 5¼” by 3½” and added a strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and a strip of Highland Heather cardstock 4½” by ¼” diagonally across the panel and added the stamped oval over the top on Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then added the 4 roses to the panel with either Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive or Stampin’ Dimensionals. For some added interest I rounded the upper right corner with the Detailed trio Punch.I added this panel to a layer of Highland Heather cardstock 4 ½” by 3 ¾”. This whole layer was added to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. As a final touch I added a scattering of Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

I really like this card and colour combo. I hope Jill likes it
