Pastel Stripy Teacups card

The 2021 – 2023 In Colors will be retiring at the end of April and they are so soft and Spring like that I had to make the most of them and designed a card using the Cup of Tea stamp set and co-ordinating Teacup Dies.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the pastel teacups card, you will need:

Polished Pink card – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜ – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Basic Black card – ¼” strip
Scrap Basic White card

Using a Blending Brush, I swirled some Pale Papaya ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card.

Flowers from the Cup of Tea stamp set, were then randomly stamped in 2nd generation Polished Pink ink and Fresh Freesia ink.

The stamped panel was then glued to the Polished Pink layer and then to the Pale Papaya card from using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the striped teacup in Pale Papaya, Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia inks onto scrap Basic White card. The larger flower was then stamped using the same 3 inks and everything was die cut using the Teacup dies.

The die cut teacups were then added to the card front on Dimensions and the flowers added, one to each cup.
