Teacup Stack for the Colour Combo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using; Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, Merry Merlot & Early Espresso. I have made a really pretty teacup stack.

To recreate the teacup stack, you will need:

Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Merry Merlot card – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card

I stamped the teacups onto scrap Basic White card using Early Espresso, Merry Merlot and Flirty Flamingo inks. They were then die cut using the Teacup Dies.

Using a Blending Brush, I added Flirty Flamingo ink to the small Basic White panel. The sentiment was stamped at the bottom in Early Espresso ink the panel was glued to the Merry Merlot layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The teacups were then added starting with the Early Espresso one at the bottom on Dimensionals. The other two were tucked in and adhered with the same liquid glue.

The flowers were stamped in both Flirty Flamingo and Merry Merlot ink and die cut using the same teacup dies. They were randomly scattered down the stack of teacups.

The large leaf from the stamp set was stamped in the upper left and lower right corners of the Flirty Flamingo card base and the decorated panel added on top.

To finish the card, I added a White Baker’s Twine bow and a trio of Basic Pearls which I coloured using the Flirty Flamingo Blends Pen.

Isn’t it sweet? Please hop along to share the inspiration provided by my fellow demo’s. Next up is Elisabeth
