Regal World card for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are creating and sharing projects made using the following – Regals (colour family), Sponging, Pearls, Standard Horizontal and Thank You. I have chosen to use the Watercolor World stamp set to make a thank you card.

The colours used in this card are:

To recreate the regal world card, you will need:

Old Olive card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White and Old Olive card

I mounted the large Watercolor World stamp onto one of the Stamparatus plates.

Using the Regals Stamp ‘n Write Markers to add colour directly to the stamp. I used Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Shaded Spruce and Rich Razzleberry and added the colours one at a time.

I used a Blending Brush instead of a sponge to add a little Smoky Slate ink around the sides of the panel. The panel was then added to the Basic Black layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The sentiment, from the Shaded Summer stamp set was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White and die cut it using the Layering Circle Dies. I die cut the slightly larger scalloped circle from scrap Old Olive card and glued the two together.

The sentiment was added to the card front with liquid glue. A trio of Iridescent Pearls completed the card.
