Royal Peacock meets copper

I have been dying to try out the new Metallic inks that are coming in the Autumn/Winter catalogue and have chosen to use the Copper ink with the Royal Peacock stamp set.

To recreate the Royal Peacock card you will need:

Pretty Peacock card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Silver Foil 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White 5⅜ by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner for the inside
Whisper White 5 ¼” by 3 ½” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Pretty Peacock

The gorgeous peacock was stamped on the smaller Whisper White panel in Pretty Peacock ink. I added the second layer of colour using the lovely new Copper Delicata ink. Love the soft shimmer it gives to the image.

The stamped layer was added to the Copper Foil layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The whole panel was mounted onto the Pretty Peacock card base using Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the New Wonders stamp set in the Copper Delicata ink onto a scrap of Pretty Peacock cardstock and trimmed it out using scissors and added it to the card front using the same liquid glue.

On the remaining panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the peacock and glued it inside the card. The envelope was decorated using the same stamp.

A very simple by stylish card. I hope you like it.
