Scattered Leaves for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop

Thank you for joining me for the Kylie Bertucci demonstrator training blog hop where we are sharing customer thank you cards. I have made a scattered leaves thank you card using the Christmas Season stamp set and Autumnal colours.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Scattered Leaves thank you card, you will need:

Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Evening Evergreen card – 5” by 3” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 4⅞” by 2⅞” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using the ‘dotty’ stamp from the Christmas Season stamp set I stamped in 2nd generation Petal Pink ink around the edges of the Petal Pink card base to provide a subtle bit of texture.

Starting with Petal Pink ink I stamped one of the leaf sprays randomly onto the smaller Basic White panel. I added a second leaf stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink.

The long thin leaf spray was stamped in Merry Merlot and finally I filled in around the edges with the spruce sprig stamped in Evening Evergreen ink.

The stamped panel was glued to the Evening Evergreen layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I then wrapped a piece of Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon around the panel, securing it on the back with Sellotape.

The whole panel was then added to the Petal Pink card front on Dimensionals.

To complete the card, I added a bow made from the same ribbon and a trio of Elegant Faceted Gems.

I hope you like it. Please hop on to see what my fellow demos have to share today.
