Seas the Day for the Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where I am sharing a pretty birthday card made using the Seas the Day stamp set.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the seas the day card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Garden Green card – 5⅞” by ½” x 2
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 2⅝”
Basic White card – ½” strip

I stamped the foliage along the bottom and up the sides of the 2⅝” panel of Basic White card.

Using a Blending Brush I added Coastal Cabana ink, lightly to the background.

The jellyfish were stamped in Bermuda Bay ink and the fish in Poppy Parade.

I added some bubbles to the panel in Bermuda Bay ink.

A garden green strip of card was glued to either side of the stamped panel. I laid the panel down on the card front and stamped some fish, matching them up where possible with those on the panel.

The whole piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card base.

The sentiment, from the Home & Garden stamp set was stamped in Poppy Parade ink onto the strip of Basic White card in Poppy Parade ink, trimmed down with scissors and added to the card front.

Cute card, I hope you like it. Please hop on to see what my fellow hoppers have been making.
