Snowflake Wishes

Today I am sharing a pretty Christmas card made using the Snowflake Wishes stamp set. This card was inspired by a card made by Ruth – the Artful Stamper

To recreate the Snowflake Wishes card you will need:

Seaside Spray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Misty Moonlight – 5½” by 3¾”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2
Scrap Whisper White and Silver Foil

I punched a 1¾” circle from a Post It Note and placed it in the centre of one of the Whisper White Panels.

Using a piece of Sponge I added Seaside Spray ink in a circle, keeping it light and building up the colour. I added some Misty Moonlight ink to the circle.

I stamped the group of snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set in 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Seaside Spray ink around the circle adding some texture.

The larger snowflakes were stamped in Misty Moonlight ink, 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation ink.

I removed the Post Note mask and stamped the group of tiny snowflakes  around the edge of the inner circle in Seaside Spray ink to blur the borders.

I die cut a snowflake from scrap Silver Foil and added it to the stamped panel using rolled up Mini Glue dots.

The stamped layer was added to the Misty Moonlight panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the panel was then adhered to the Seaside Spray card base with the same glue.

The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set was stamped on scrap Whisper White card in Misty Moonlight ink and trimmed out using scissors.

To complete the card I added a trio of Snowflake Sequins.
