Sunshine Wishes meets Jar of Love for an Anniversary Card

Today I am sharing a sweet card I made for my lovely friends, Lyndsay and Richard celebrating their wedding anniversary. I wanted to use the Sunshine Wishes dies for this card and teamed it up with the Jar of Love stamp set and Every Day Jars dies.

I used Thick Whisper White cardstock for my card base and burnished the crease using my Bone Folder. I cut a Whisper White cardstock panel 5” by 3⅜” and a Berry Burst cardstock panel 5¼” by 3⅝” and layered them together using Tombow Liquid Adhesive.

I die cut the gorgeous open heart shape using my Big Shot and the Sunshine Wishes dies from a piece of Whisper White cardstock and added it to the prepared panel using dots of Tombow Liquid Adhesive I then coated it with Clear Wink of Stella to add some glitter to the card.

I stamped the double flower from the Jar of Love stamp set in Fresh Fig ink and So Saffron ink using the 2nd or 3rd generation for the solid base layer and 1st generation for the detail on top. I stamped the smaller individual flower in Berry Burst ink, Dapper Denim ink and Powder Pink ink before die cutting all the flowers using the Every Day Jars dies. The leaves were stamped in the gorgeous Lemon Lime Twist ink and die cut in the same way. I then had a happy time arranging my flowers and leaves before adhering them down with Tombow Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Berry Burst ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and trimmed it out, flagging the end, using scissors. To finish off I added Basic Pearls to each flower centre and a scattering of pearls around the heart.

I am really happy with the card, it is so delicate and fresh looking and I hope Lyndsay and Richard like it.
