Sweet Farewell card

Today I am sharing a sweet farewell card made using the stamp set of the same name. This has some lovely travel themed images.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the sweet farewell card, you will need:

Smoky Slate – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Coastal Cabana card – 5¼” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Scrap Basic White

I stamped the large circle from the Watercolor Shapes stamp set in 2nd generation Smoky Slate ink in the centre of the small Basic White panel.

The panel was then added to the Coastal Cabana panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and then to the Smoky Slate card base using the same glue.

The suitcase from the Sweet Farewell stamp set was stamped to the right of the stamped circle in Basic Gray ink. I stamped the image again in the same ink on scrap Basic White card and cut it out with scissors.

I used the following Blends Markers to colour in the image – Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Smoky Slate. The coloured image was then added over the stamped image on the card.

The sentiment was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink onto the card front to complete the card.
