A red tractor themed birthday card made using the Tractor & Co stamp set and co-ordinating dies from Stampin' Up!

Red Tractor Card

I absolutely love the Tractor & Co stamp set and dies. My grandfather was a farm servant back in the 1920’s through to the 1970’s and I spent many happy holidays picking berries on the farm he was working on and riding in the trailer of the red tractor.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the red tractor card, you will need:

Basic Beige card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Secret Sea card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic Beige card – 5½” by 3¾”
Secret Sea card – 3 ¾” by ⅛”
Scrap Crushed Curry, Poppy Parade & Secret Sea

The very thin strip of Secret Sea card was adhered to the Basic Beige panel about 3” down from the top.

Using Secret Sea ink, I stamped the sentiment just beneath the Secret Sea strip. The bottom half of the Basic Beige panel was the embossed using the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. The whole piece was then adhered to the Secret Sea layer and then to the Basic Beige card front.

From scrap Poppy Parade card, I die cut the body of the tractor and both wheel arches. Using a Sponge Dauber I inked around all the pieces using Cherry Cobbler ink. The Wheels and the top grill of the tractor were die cut from scrap Secret Sea card and finally the seat and hub caps were die cut from scrap Crushed Curry card.
