A stunning fun fold wedding card made using the Gallery Blooms stamp set and the Everyday Arches Dies from Stampin' Up!

Gallery Blooms Wedding Card- Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing fun fold projects. I have chosen to share the wedding card made for my niece and her new wife’s wedding last week. Such a lovely day. I used the Gallery Blooms stamp set and Everyday Arches Dies to create my card.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the gallery blooms wedding card, you will need:

Night of Navy card – 5½” by 4¼” x 3
Petal Pink card – 5¼” by 4” x 4
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3½”
Night of Navy card – 9” by 1¾” – scored at 2½” and 6½”
Night of Navy card – 3¼” by ½”
Scrap Petal Pink and Night of Navy card

From the 3 rectangles of Night of Navy card I die cut three of the largest arches from the Everyday Arches Dies. I die cut the next size down arch from the four pieces of Petal Pink card. Using the next size down again I die cut arches from the four panels of Basic White card.

I stamped the large floral image onto one of the Basic White arches and the smaller curved double bloom onto the remaining three white arches using Night of Navy ink.

The flowers on each of the image were coloured using Petal Pink Blends Pens with the centres added with the dark Cloud Cover Blends Pen. Three of the Basic White arches were then embossed using the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. The remaining panel was left un-embossed so that I could write a message.

Adhesive Sheet was added to the back of a scrap piece of Night of Navy and Petal Pink card. I then used the Alphabet A La Mode Dies to cut out the letters for the girl’s names and the & sign. The letters were then adhered to the embossed panels. I used a T ruler to make sure I got the letters as straight as possible. The embossed and decorated panels were then adhered to the Petal Pink arches.

The scorelines on the long strip of Night of Navy card were folded and burnished and one of the Night of Navy arches was adhered behind the centre panel. The other two Night of Navy arches were then adhered to the strip, one to the right and the other to the left. The decorated arches were then glued into position.

A shaker card made for a ruby wedding anniversary using the Party Alphabet Dies, Blooming Phrases stamp set and the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up!

Ruby Wedding Card

I made this shaker card to celebrate the ruby wedding anniversary (40th) of my brother and sister-in-law which is today. I made it using the new Party Alphabet dies and the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the ruby anniversary card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card – 8” by 7” scored at 3½”
Season of Elegance dsp – 7¾” by 3¼”
Thick Basic White card – 7½” by 3”
Window Sheet – 7⅜” by 2⅞” x 2
Secret Sea card – 3” by ½”

I lined the letters RUBY on the 7½” by 3” panel of Thick Basic White card making sure to get them as straight as possible. I held them in position with small pieces of Washi Tape from my stash and die cut them out. I removed the letters and set them aside as I did not need them for this card, but I did need the inner pieces from the R and the B.

With the whole piece face down, I applied Foam Adhesive Strips around all 4 sides, between all the letters and supporting all the pieces which intrude into the letters. I dropped a pinch of sequins into each letter. I ran a bead of Multipurpose Liquid on top of the Adhesive Strip and added the second piece of Window Sheet overtop to seal the sequins in.

Sunflowers Carved in Burnt Wood – Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we sharing projects made using online exclusive products. I have used the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder with the carved wood technique to make a dramatic anniversary card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the sunflower carved in burnt wood card, you will need:

Very Vanilla card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Early Espresso card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Very Vanilla card – 5¼” by 3½”
Very Vanilla card – 4¼” by 2½”

I embossed the Very Vanilla panel with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder.

With the embossed (raised side) facing down I dragged the Crumb Cake ink pad across the panel. Next, I dragged the Pecan Pie ink and across the panel and finally the Early Espresso ink pad. This builds up the depth of colour and gives the burnt look to the background.

Using a Sponge Dauber I coloured the flower petals with Darling Duckling ink. I added Crushed Curry ink to the base of each petal to add depth. The flower centres were coloured with Sponge Daubers using Calypso Coral and Cajun Craze ink.

Mossy Meadow ink was used to add ink to the leaves. The embossed panel was then glued to the Early Espresso layer and then to the Very Vanilla card base.
