Stamping with Friends Blog Hop – 1

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects showcasing our gorgeous designer series paper (dsp). I have used the Bauble Blooms Dies with the Floral & Gingham Vellum to make a Christmas bauble card.

Colours used in making this card are:

To recreate the Christmas bauble card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Old Olive card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Floral & Gingham Vellum – 4” by ⅜” by strips
Old Olive card – 1⅝” by ½”

I piece of Adhesive Sheet was adhered to the Basic White panel measuring 4” by 3½”.

The strips of Floral & Gingham Vellum were then laid onto the adhesive sheet, butted up one against the other and at a diagonal. The large outline bauble from the Bauble Blooms Dies was used to cut out the bauble shape.

The bauble top was die cut from scrap Silver Foil and added to the top of the bauble. I tied a bow using the silver cord and added it with a Mini Glue Dot and a piece of silver cord was tucked behind the bow and secured on the front and back of the panel with a Mini Glue Dot.  The whole piece was glued to the Old Olive layer and then to the Pool Party card front.

The sentiment, from the Merriest Trees stamp set was stamped on the piece of Old Olive card in Versamark ink. I covered it with Silver Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool before adding it to the card front.
