Favored Flowers card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using our favourite Sale-a-Bration product. After a lot of deliberation, there are so many gorgeous goodies to choose from – eventually I went with the Favored Flowers dsp.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the favored flowers card, you will need:

Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Calypso Coral card – 4⅛” by 1¼”
Basic White card – 4⅛” by 1”

I fussy cut some of the partial flowers and leaves from around the edges of a sheet of the Favored Flowers dsp and set them to one side.

The sentiment from the Kind & Sincere stamp set was stamped onto the 1” wide strip of Basic White card in Calypso Coral ink.

I mounted the sentiment to the Calypso Coral strip using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and added it to the Petal Pink card base on Dimensionals.

Using the same liquid adhesive I tucked the partial flowers underneath the sentiment, top and bottom.

Using the ‘dotty’ stamp from the Beautifully Happy stamp set I stamped in Calypso Coral ink above and below the flowers.

A scattering of Classic Matte Dots completed the card.
