Lazy Days card for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using some new annual catalogue product. I have made a pretty thank you card using the Lazy Days stamp set.

Colours used in this project:

To recreate the lazy days card, you will need:

Boho Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Lemon Lolly card – 4⅝” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Peebled Path card – ¼” strip

Using Boho Blue ink, I randomly stamped the clouds onto the Boho Blue card front.

Using the Scalloped Contour Dies, I die cut a scalloped rectangle from the 4¾” by 3½” panel of Basic White card.

The rocking chair and coffee table were then stamped onto the die cut shape in Peebled Path ink. I used Crumb Cake Blends to colour in the chair and table and added lemonade to the glasses using the new Lemon Lolly Blends.

I masked off the edges of the die cut rectangle and applied Boho Blue ink to the background of the panel using a Blending Brush. The completed panel was then glued to the Lemon Lolly layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a piece of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine around the upper left corner of the panel, secured it on the back with Sellotape and added a bow with a Mini Glue Dot.

The sentiment, from the Sending Smiles stamp set was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Peebled Path card, covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front. A trio of Adhesive Backed Solid Gems completed the card.
